This may have been mentioned elsewhere, but just in case!

The portal out of Fractals of the Mist from Dessa’s Lab still says, “Gateway to Lion’s Arch” instead of, “Gateway to Gendarran Fields”. Of course, since we’re in the mists, Dessa could always think her portal always goes to Lion’s Arche. xD

The portals in the starting towns still say Lion’s Arch also.

Dessa doesn’t know that this portal leads to LA. She said it in the fractured update (she was surprised when Ellen Kiel told her that).

It isn’t Dessa labelling the portal though.
In the game world there is no floating yellow text that says “gateway to Lions Arch”
That text is purely there for the players and as such it should be corrected.

How do you know that? Maybe there is text there so the people of Styria know where they’re going. I mean there’s so many portals next to each other in certain cities how would they know which is which? I don’t see any signs. O.o

Well, let’s not make any excuses for it. They are not intended to reflect what Ellen or Dessa think/said. They are meant for the player.

Just like the quests surrounding and referencing LA that have not changed for this update, this line of text hasn’t either. I suspect it will be business as usual soon and they didn’t want to change anything.

I noticed the same with the portals in the main cities and thought it was an oversight. Until I stepped through one of them and spoke to the NPC on the other side (Vigil Keep). There’s a Charr Vigil dude there and when you talk to him, he welcomes you to “Lion’s Arch North”. Nice move, ANet
