Okay so, after this last release of the LS, I have noticed a Few things

1) Now that Taimi has discovered what the Chalk Glad does, this gives way for the Devs to retake Orr from the Risen.This could be done by either developing a Weapon (also used to fight the other dragons) or calibrating the Waypoints to filter out Death magics going into Orr. I could see the Devs going zone by zone, cleaning the Risen, and retaking Orr once and for all. Maybe even making this the new Home of the pact since they have that large base in the Straights of Devastaion.

Speaking of a Weapon to fight the dragons. Now since the Chalk Glad can filter Death Magics there is probably away for it to filter out Mordemoths’s Magic as well to strip Primordus’ Minions of their new found abilities. This also leads me to point 2

2) Now that Primordus and Jormag are now active, it would be interesting to see if the Devs allowed the players some control as to which Dragon we fight next. Kinda like the voting system for the new captain in Lion’s Arch. Not sure how it would work, maybe make it a Simulation thru Taimi & Moto’s Chamber. Depending on how many times either Primordus or Jormag’s Simulation’s were beat, that Dragon would be the first to be fought in the LS (or Expack)

3) SUPER SPOILERS After watching the Protection of Glint’s egg, it occurred to me that Marjory is not over her sister’s death and the reason she wants to follow Lazarus is to find a way to bring her sister back from the dead. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t do this trope, it’s old and annoying. if you do plan on doing it, I can see a few ways of doing. the two most notable are that we have to fight and possible kill Marjory and the other is Kasmeer comes to the rescue and knocks some sense into Marjory before she goes off the deep end.

2) That remains to be seen, which one will ne the bigger threat.

3) I agree with you, but i would love to see some betrayal there, forcin the pc to kill the traitor (i am looking at you, Caithe) just so that it could give the pc character development. And not from lazarus, that would be too lame.

What i would personaly love right now would be some ls parts taking care or getting to know aurene. The commander is her champion! Theyr lack of direct interaction with her was killing me mentally.

1) Ideally I would really like this… I just think it’d be really difficult to make it work in a practical sense. Indeed, I just wonder how it would play out for newer players yet to defeat Zhaitan.

3) I’m just hoping that Marjory fancies some hunky piece of Mursaat to keep her warm at night. The ‘hairs on her neck stand up on end’…. I think she’s into him. We can only hope…

I’d love a good love triangle, maybe followed by a last minute dash to the Asura Gate.

What I’d like to see is for them to give us a reason to visit one of the parts of Orr that is currently uncharted – possibly the space between Arah and Malchor’s Leap. They could open up the gate at Bayt Fallahin for players with the relevant expansion, for instance, and make it a zone transition. They could then use that zone to show us what Orr has become since Zhaitan’s fall without spoiling it for players who haven’t gone through the personal story yet.

So Chak can consume, filter and kind of purify magic. Wouldn´t that mean that they can supplement or even replace the elder dragons? And that Chak are competing with elder dragons for magic? A chak potentat alone may not be the equal of an elder dragon, but a whole swarm of chak with many potentates?

I would like to see a plot where a dragon simply cannot attack the other races because it is plagued or has to actuaslly defenditself against Chak. ^^

Yea this is my hope for Orr as well. Keep the 3 maps we already have as they are, but implement new Orr maps of a cleansed land, with metas similar to HoT (I’m imagining something along the lines of a meta where you fight several leftover Orr commanders to cleanse a city, and then defend it against their attempts to retake it. Keeps the theme of the Orr temple events as well). Best part is that lorewise we now have a way to do this

what they can also do is make maps a choice when you unlock a certain achievement. Say, they put in a new achievement for completing the story and beating Zhaitan. So long as that achievement is unlocked, one can choose to go to ‘old’ Orr or go to ‘new’ Orr when they use a zone portal/waypoint into one of those 3 zones. with the old Orr, it’s basically the maps we know now. with the new one instead it’s with little risen but perhaps the Pact is now dealing with corsairs/pirates raiding Orr for treasure, greater inquest movement as well as possible delegations from the various race nations wanting to ‘claim’ a piece for themselves.

it only requires half the resources to do this too, as one would just adjust some of the flora and fauna to reflect ‘new plant growth’ and get rid of the corruption. The map is already built. With how much detail each of the new LS episodes are getting this can be done as a sort of ‘side project.’

1. The risen have already been dying out. With no holder of Zhaitan’s power, they don’t really have any way to replenish themselves.

2. Nahh, because then we’ll see outrage like back then about how there’s no Abaddon fractal going to be made.

3. Odds are Marjory is actually playing manipulator. She’s setting up a visible rift that Lazarus can exploit, to see if he’ll take the bait and try to use it. If he does, it lets her know he’s still evil and she can find out what he’s up to. If he doesn’t, then she’s going to keep on that game until he does. Remember, she believes that people cannot change.

We would still Face the Dragons, probably after the Chalk Weapon would be made, just the order would be different. That is all. Nothing would be lost

It would break the personal Story yes, so that would have to be reworked but there are ways around this. We do have Taimi’s and moto’s Sim machine now. why couldn’t the cleansing of Orr be a sim? They could put the old Personal Story/Orr maps into the Mists like the fractals, because those are lost in time now as well. Make is like a dream sequence or something (Bob Newhart show Finale). Also the model of GW2 does allow the change of this but it may be future expacks, but right now the Base game is Free to play and Free players only have to pay for the latest expack (Heart of thorns). So when there is another expack, They will probably follow this model based on what Mike O’Brian said when Heart of Thorns came out. though this also all depends on how much content the future expacks have.

Like the other people have suggested as well there still is 3/4 of the Orr landmass that is not accessable. we could cleanse that side first and then when couple of expacks go thru they could cleanse the rest

in this case, to open new maps I agree. I am against changing the old ones.

I say more: it would be amazing.

1) We’re never going back to Orr. Why anybody would want them to put resources into redeveloping an old zone instead of seeing new and interesting places is beyond me.

2) Do you understand how these things are made? The expansion is already in development. It has been for a long time. There have been leaks on where it’s taking place already. What is happening and what dragon/s are involved is already set in stone. If we got to vote on where the expansion would be happening NOW, it wouldn’t release for at least another two to three years and that’s being generous.

3) Your theory sounds dumb. I don’t believe she is trying to find a way to resurrect her sister. Anet wanted Marjory to do something in the story so they shoved her in and made her Lazarus’s nanny.

If rumours involving elona are even remotely credible.. We could go through arah.
At which point Taimi’s gear could be used to create a new city zone.

Wouldn’t need to touch the old zones.

I think its a far-fetched idea at the moment, but I’m not willing to move anything off the quaggan table.
