There’s a guy that got a white weapon from a rare weapon loot bag.

And just now, some guy got a PRECURSOR from a blue/green weapon loot bag (he opened 147).

Something’s wrong with the loot in this patch…

You do know that people are constantly trolling by linking random precursor weapons in chat? Very easy to do.

Yea id say whoever it was is just trolling the map, and it looks like you took the bait. Happens all the time at most events.

Some people will troll, but I did get a rare out of one of the blue/green loot bags. If the chance is there to get a yellow instead of a blue/green, then theoretically, one could also get an exotic.

No personal experience with getting a white from the rare bag though!

You can get a precursor out of the gear loot bags, it is just random drops from them. I’ve gotten 8 rares, 3 exotics and a crap ton of blues/greens from those bags.

White weapon out of the rare bag is also just rng. It has a very high chance for rare, small chance for exotic, and even smaller chance for less than rare. Might be they drop that to 0 in a fix, but most likely not.

Last time someone linked a precursor in map chat, I called them on it. No weapon ever drops with 2 sigils in it.

To the OP: That’s just how things go. I imagine the “rare loot bag” was the living world reward. Normal champ bags all drop a green or better.

I got a precursor from a green loot bag way before this patch or the halloween one, it’s just exceptionally rare.

I do believe that playing actively for 2 years is equivalent of having precursors dropped from mobs or chests, NEVER got one, on our 2nd birthday we got a cake-rifle and some crappy scrolls to get level 20… Rewards in this game are too “confusing for veteran players”.
