I’m assuming aurene disables the generators, but she is just sitting on the second one, nothing is progressing and I keep killing elite oozes. Bugged?

You have to stand on the generator for some reason. Just stay stood on it and whack the oozes while aurene does whatever it does.

Actually would be cool if you could actually, I dont know.. say that you have to encourage her to gnaw on them somewhere.. your hint is too vague. I was looking for another device I had to find in the maze.

I just ran into this problem – and got lucky and was able to fix without a reset – i ran back a distance and tried to engage some oozes through a crack in one of the walls – seemed to somehow trigger the next wall lowering, or managed to move Aurene enough. I may have just gotten lucky, or they may have set a workaround to move Aurene after X minutes of getting stuck – but killing all the extra oozes that had generated was still faster than resetting.

I find that pulls work extremely well for this. Pull the oozes close to the generator, not on top of it just close enough so that Aurene will notice it an aggro to it. Then kill them and she will happily kill the generator

I managed to get it by not letting her get on top of the ooze generator.

In my point of view the last generator is a little bit too hard to kill, as there are 3 elite oozes that need to be played with. As an ele with staff and soldier stats i needed ~10 min for this step. Maybe you can take a look at the difficulty?

That was precisely how I managed to bug my first attempt; she followed me. And you mustn’t pull Aurene onto the top of a generator.

I found that working my way slowly towards it, killing the oozes behind me until I was within sight of it (at which point I halted), worked best; that way, Aurene was always attacking targets away from the generator until there were none left, at which point she consistently spotted and attacked it.

This is just so broken now! Might as well just come back in a few weeks when anet get their act together and fixes it.

This is what I did last night too. I got right through it.

Please have aureen just walk to the next Generator and don’t fight every Ooze. it’s so annoying to wait for her…

And possibly fatal, when you get that pack of 3 Elites and the legion of smaller ones waiting to eat your face. I can hold off that cluster for a while and Aurene can rush the generator.

Worked for me too. But seems like Aurene has some pathing issues on the 3rd task. For me she got stuck on the last generator.

I just killed a ooze on top of every generator. I don’t know if that is what you need to do, but it worked for me.

This still seems buggy. I don’t even have new oozes spawning, and also no “Ooze Generator” to destroy (the black circle thing is there, but no yellow object to destroy). S. attached screenshot.
Never had this issue with my Herald, but with my Ranger, it didn’t work two times in a row now. Trying third soon…
