I purchased Heart of thorns about a month ago and finally made it through the story last week or so. When I went to start Living story 3 it seems to have skipped the first episode which was necessary to get to bloodstone fen. When I looked back on the episode it says I have to purchase the first episode. Everyone I’ve talked to says I should have gotten the episode just for logging in the last month.

I was wanting to know if this was bugged or if its working as intended? Thank you.

You had to have logged into the game at least once between the release of Episode 1 on 26th July and the release of Episode 2 on 20th September. I think (although I’ve never tested it) you had to actually log into a character, not just to the character select screen.

If you’re sure you did that I recommend contacting Support (there’s a link at the top of this page), explaining the situation and asking them to help you.

You should be still be able to access Bloodstone Fen by using a Teleport to Friend Stone or by having someone run you through the living story. Unfortunately you cannot do the episode’s story yourself unless you buy it.

You can exchange Gold for Gems and gain access to the Episode at no cost. The exchange rate has been pretty low recently.

That, or spend the $2.50, if you don’t want to wait.
