Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone. After Scarlet died, I was given a letter from this Marjory fellow and asked to come to the Dead End in Divinity’s Reach. I was immediately introduced to several characters (Marjory, Roxx, Braham etc.) that everyone here seems to talk about. I had no clue who these people were until I looked them up and found out that they were part of this Living World thing that I still didn’t know about. From what I have read, these adventurers are apart of a meta story-line in the game that has been going on for quite some time. I want to know if there is any way to catch up on this story in order to get to know the characters and this Living World thing in general. Thanks in advance!

Short answer: no.

Long answer: Everything there is referring to past content that has been cyclically added and removed. If you’re really interested in what’s going on and who these people are, you’ll need to do some research outside the game, and look it up on the wiki, or watch some youtube videos of someone else playing through the content.

Not in game. There’s been a couple of suggestions from players on how ANet could enable this, but it doesn’t seem to be priority at the moment. For the most part wiki and perhaps http://atlas.guildwars2.com/en/, but without context the atlas is a bit confusing.

Yeah, that story happened in the past, so it’s not re-playable. Almost as if the World were somehow Living…

But I think it’s really cool that you are taking an interest, even at this late hour. Talk to your guildies, read the synopsis linked above, watch the videos on Youtube and you will be all set for when Living Story Season 2 starts.
