Quit GW2 because of the living world!
Twilight Assault was permanent
but they took out an existing path because of it, so the amount of content is still the same
I may be reading too much into it, but it seems like the LS updates are beginning to linger quite a bit longer than the two weeks we started with. You can still go out and do the toxic offshoot events and they’ve been going on for six weeks… and they’re still persisting all through the Wintersday update as well. So those events, the tower instances, and the Fractal content are all going on at least through Wintersday.
They may still be temporary, but giving everyone over a month or two to experience them is at worst a step in the right direction.
I don’t understand how you are not getting any Living Story done even though you are casual. Ever living story only takes at most 5 hours to complete. You are given 4 weeks to get the achievements done.
If you can’t find time within 4 weeks to complete very easy , very quick content then MMOs in general are not a genre you would enjoy.
IT IS NOT OUR FAULT FOR NOT LIKING LIVING STORY
It’s ANet’s fault for not making the game the way the customers like it.
Do not let any white knight tell you otherwise.
That said, I do really enjoy the game
I just do not like the fact LS has taken up the expansion.
We could have had a Cantha or new map to explore by now… but nope we have rehash “Winter’s Day” content over 4 week “Tower” content.

I rather enjoy the repeatable festivities, and surprisingly, I think most of the player base does as well.
It’d be nice if there were more new activities (and I don’t realize why they took out reapers rumble from Halloween, probably because it was unitendedly broken with some update), but still, I do like those releases.
That being said, I am speculating you will see new map(s) (and it’ll probably be in Maguma), and perhaps even a new dragon by the middle of next year.

I get about 2-3hr of play time a week. Between dungeon runs with guildies, WvW, crafting and trying to get fractals done and then holiday events in the mix I have to pick doing nothing but Living World story or play a little bit of everything and not have time to get it done. As a casual player I dont mind it takes me longer to get things done but I want the option to be able to earn anything in the game anyone else does. Be that a title or an item. Most of the updates for GW2 have passed my wife and I by so I have to ask. Why give them money? So we stopped playing.
I post this here just to let the devs know why we left in the hopes they change the focus of the new content. If they dont I wont be mad or nerd rage. I just wont come back and someone else will get my money. I hope they do start focusing more on content that stay and living world becomes more of a once in a while thing.

Only 2-3 hrs a week? yeah this game isn’t for you if you can’t handle skipping some content but not the LS, Also its a game you really need to sit back and just wandering around soaking up the amazing art.
In saying that though most of the LS content I have come across can be done within a few hours if your not into achievements (which are basically more of the same – a grind) so if you get 8-12hrs every month that’s more than enough to do what you need (minus WvW which 3 hours a week doesn’t feel like enough but that’s got nothing to do with the LS.)
you should really take “QUIT” out of the title, it makes the thread look like one big QQ thread no matter how genuine you are.

This comment both illustrates and misses the point about time-gated content.

You’re right. You don’t understand.
so then what is the point? time-gated content is just a cheap way to keep players from reaching max stats. Since GW2 is playable by using only rares, no one should really complain about not having BiS gear.
Once you get that BiS gear what are you going to do with it? The same content you have been doing since you started your first character.
Living world wouldn’t be living world if everything stayed permanently.
Do you really want Scarlet invasions to be in the game forever?????????????
I think the Living Story, as a tool, is an amazing thing, really. Arena.net is putting out great amounts of content at a fast pace, and its remarkable and breaking all preconceived notions that have been ingrained into players from other MMOs. I mean, this is a subscription free game, and it puts out more content than Blizzard does with WoW at 5x the speed. That’s something amazingly impressive.
If anything I’d like to see some living story content a bit like the Bazaar of the Four Winds. It was non-combat, purely for fun, had a lot of fun mini-game type events and such, and it introduced a new map that wasn’t too big or too small; a perfect size.
I’d like to see some living story that changes the existing world in a permanent way. It’d be great to see Orr slowly coming back to life with some adventurous people settling there, maybe trying to restore and rebuild the old kingdom, or build something new.
I’d like to see a new permanent dungeon come out. Maybe Wizard’s Tower south of Garrenhoff in Gendarren Fields. That looks like it’d have an amazing story behind it.
It’s nice that the Living Story up to now has little dots that we can connect and see a pattern or greater story with, but I’d rather see something like that with the main story of the game; the Elder Dragons.
The game was doing very well until they started with Living Story. The player die off is more than coincidental to what many find to be failed game design.
Living Story killed the game for me and my small guild. Not just is the form of adventure by checklist content repugnant, but it’s anathema to the core foundations that made this game so incredible at launch.
When they Kill Living Story and Devote future content creation to a vast expansion of Dynamic Events across the beautiful, but now stale, game world, they will have a chance to recapture the potential this game originally represented.
As long as they embrace the death spiral that is the failed Living Story concept, there isn’t much hope.
As a long time MMO vet, the frustrations related to this are difficult to impart. Many have been waiting for a game like GW2 since the genre first spawned and the potential for the medium became evident. The game, at launch, was somewhat akin to The Holy Grail of MMO design.
To see the Water of Life poured from the Grail, so that it can be used as a beer stein for drinking cheap swill is just demoralizing.

That is nonsense; There was nothing easy about the Tower and it’s now a death trap for average skilled players.

Just like Teq was permanent and look how that turned out. I was making my way to Orr on an alt. and Teq popped, what a lonely sight it was. If by adding content Anet’s only method is replacing existing or by making a few tweaks (cough, T3, fiasco) they need to seriously rethink things. Even games like CoD which is pretty much the same game pumped out every year makes more effort.
The heavy flame armour in the cash shop is a perfect example of this games current direction. A lazy and talentless one.

I’m going to disagree. I started playing from this August and I have enjoyed the content so far. At first it felt daunting, and Halloween in particular felt like something I could not participate in at all due to the INSANE difficulty of the bosses in the Mad Kings maze. Then I came to understand if you want to finish the content you really have to focus to get it done and pay attention to the wording. I was done the tower in three days, and now I really regret my relaxed approach to Halloween. Having entered the game with no friends I now have several friends due to this content. Also I am confused about what money you are giving to Anet. Aside from the initial cost you pay nothing.
took me 2-3hours to complete the tower meta. MMO genre is not for u, more so GW2 who updates so much which i love, cos i get bored easy.

Even as a player like myself who has stopped playing for many months, if I come back now, what do I gain? Most of the new content is gone. So what is there to encourage me to come back? IMO the only real content added was isles (that I hate) and fractals that are just ok IMO. The rest of the new content is no longer there to encourage me as a gamer to come back and give ANet my money. To me they are just spinning their wheels.

By your argument the MMO genre isn’t for many MMO players. I have many friends as well as myself who have been totally turned off by the rapid implementations of LS. You can’t play the LS content at your leisure. If you have finals to study for or a heavy workload in your career during the first few days or week of the newest LS implementation (Nightmare Tower, for instance) then you completely miss out. The zerg zones become dead after the masses get their achievements and then you have a very real blockade in the Tower between you and completing the LS (or even seeing the story) which requires you to pass up to 3 gateways which also require zergs due to events and elites/champions guarding the event-sealed exits. Where I’ve been able to complete these within the naturally optimum time slot, I’ve felt a great pressure to do so without being able to stop and enjoy the experience. Meanwhile, my friends from other MMOs and the first Guild Wars just start sitting the game out because they feel like they can’t keep up and that there’s no point anymore since all the “new” stuff goes away after a few weeks or a month. A couple of my friends even returned to the original game because the flexible gameplay was better for them than the time-crunch of GW2 — their idea of MMO is being able to play the same content together with 4-10 other friends during the short time window when everyone has the same evening or day free.
As for me, I’m so burned out from the LS-fest and the disappointment with the Halloween stacked on top, I just can’t bring myself to log in anymore, even though it’s Wintersday and I’ve always loved the Wintersday events since the first one that came out in 2005. I guess MMOs aren’t for me, but I’m currently enjoying a few other MMOs where my friends and I can play at our leisure and new content is released regularly with true permanence — not just lingering “activities” that aren’t available daily or a single event from a previous LS… or tweaking existing content and calling it “new” or “added.” Perhaps it’s not that MMOs aren’t for me and my friends. Maybe it’s just that Guild Wars 2 isn’t for us anymore, which is a shame since my household alone has probably dropped $40-80/mo on the silly but entertaining cosmetic items in the cash shop. Pennies, I know, but when enough people decide their money’s best spent elsewhere, they add up.

This post is just ludicrous. Do you know why? Because every customer has a different opinion and perspective on how they think/feel the game should be.
Personally, I like the LS updates and since I never played GW1 I could care less about Cantha. It’s good that you enjoy the game, but to say that it’s ANETs fault because some, if not a lot, of people don’t like the LS. They are trying. It just seems with this community they can never win.

I think Soulstar is saying they would like some nice quality updates instead of a rehash every two weeks. Or an expansion, I can agree with that, I want something worth while and the only thing worth my while is a true expansion.
I see bugs with every new release, instead of fixes so quality is almost completely out the window. With that in mind, all this temporary content will only make temporary players.
There’s more to Guild Wars 2 than Living Story and sometimes Living Story can feel just a like an achievement grind rather than actual story content plus often they are more fun with other players so when you are a casual player, work hard and long hours and have little time and cant get guildies to play with when you have time to play it can be very difficult to do Living Stories.
Living Stories may be lasting long but they still come out every two weeks and to feel successful a lot depends on achievements so when you have three living stories crossing over a period of time it gets very hard. The Halloween stuff, the Nightmare Tree, WvW Season 1, the second part of the Nightmare story, Fractured and Christmas have all overlapped into each other quite significantly. Its hard not just because it can be time consuming and require certain levels of ability to speed through it but because when RL is so demanding and you don’t like game grind you don’t want to be spending so much precious time on it.
I still haven’t had the chance to do any "Fractured "as I don’t like pugging and I have been very busy in Rl. I wont finish the second part of the Nightmare Tree as find it too difficult to solo and be enjoyable and haven’t got much of WvW Season 1 between being busy and so not interested in grinding destruction of structures and such achievements.
Many people if most who play games do want to feel a sense of achievement but in an MMO set it too low and hardcore moan, set it too high and casual moan. Some games get around this by having normal and nightmare versions of dungeons but GW2 seems to make achievement hunting its difficulty level. The problem imo with achievement hunting is its not skill difficulty so much as time and so it doesn’t feel very good to underachieve just because you don’t have the time.

Most people would be really bored if we didn’t have new content every two weeks while waiting on an expansion. There are different teams working on different content. There might be an expansion team working on an expansion right now. Don’t say that customers don’t like the living story. Speaking for everyone is bad
Totally agree with OP. Hate living story with a fiery passion. Loathe it. It’s pushy and punishes people who don’t play when ANet wants them to by taking away the chance of specific rewards. It’s obnoxious, and unpleasant and stressful.
And don’t tell me that MMOs aren’t for me, that’s absolute crap. I’ve been playing MMOs since DAOC. Most MMOs have some occasional limited-time events, but the vast majority of content can be completed at your leisure, at your own pace. This need to have a constant stream of limited-time events is not in any way a standard feature of the MMO genre.
If ANet had been honest and upfront that this was their intention, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. I would have kept my $60 and the money I spent on gems and found myself another MMO to play that did not completely disregard casual players. But instead they pulled a “bait and switch”.
I bitterly regret ever opening up my wallet for this incredibly disappointing experience.
The Living World content design, by its temporary nature, focuses the player base on whatever LW content is being introduced. The developers expect the herd to flock to the new content as soon as it’s released. Thus, the content is designed to work best for a herd of players doing it simultaneously. If you think about it, it has to be designed that way, because that’s what happens.
The true test of the content is how well it scales down once the herd is done with it. From the sound of things, it scales down poorly.
I choose another path, did not quit GW2, but quit that boring living story. Lol living, that part is laughable isnt it.
Hey at least they were respectful and kept their Living Story out of interesting content like Dungeons, Fractals, and WvW!

The forums at MMORPG.com and a few other places kinda tell the story that ANet would do a lot better if their focus was on other content. I think LS updates should be 1-2 times a year at most.
When I first heard about this whole living story thing, I was excited, because it sounded like something new, like an ongoing evolvement. Seeing it in practice however, I feel kind of ashamed to have ever told friends about it.
When new players come to me and ask me, “What’s up with this Southsun Cove?”, I have to tell them that it’s a remnant of the LS, which serves no real purpose anymore (except farming mats). And they’re all like “WTF?!? What a freaking waste!”. When they ask me about Scarlet and what the heck she has to do in the Twilight Arbor, I have to explain them all the rararara about this stupid bi-…pedal plant and they’re going: “Uhu… Oo”, followed by some jokes about the LS and how they find addons much more appealing.
That’s the main problem. For new or recurring players. it’s nothing more than a patchwork rug. Disjointed story snippets that make almost no sense and are thus uninteresting. We will have another of these things should the Nightmare Tower leave a ruin behind. You might very well come back to this game, after a long time and find almost nothing new in it – because it’s either gone or makes no real sense anymore.
I came to really dislike the LS. Arenanet has shown me how much more I get out of a real expansion, like they did them in GW1. LS as it is now will never beat the massiveness and quality of an addon, which I can play at my own pace, anytime I want.
I have never quite understood the “there is to much for me to do, so I won’t play” thought process. Imagine how bored the player base would be if everything could be completed in 2-3 hours a week. I play a fair amount a week and yet come no where close to finishing a ton of objectives. What I do is enjoy whatever I choose to do at any moment, vs hating over what I don’t do.
The Living Story, at its best, has been pretty unimpressive.
The reason? LS encompasses everything Arenanet is bad at.
There is a difference between World Building and Story Telling. Arenanet are EXCELLENT world builders.
…they are poor storytellers. Even the best of the personal stories only rise to the level of Okay.
And I know some make the argument that the non-permeant nature of the LS has been changing, but the idea of devoting resources to content that’s going to vanish for a non-sub game is absurd. Especially with no real expansion planned.
Thus far the LS has only served to prove right the people who said that a buy2play MMO wouldn’t provide worthwhile new content in the long run.
“Even as a player like myself who has stopped playing for many months, if I come back now, what do I gain? Most of the new content is gone. So what is there to encourage me to come back? IMO the only real content added was isles (that I hate) and fractals that are just ok IMO. You paid Anet once and you aren’t giving them any more money unless youd ecide to buy cosmetics. The coming content is just a bonus that requires no more sub fees or anything. Why not play for 2-3 hours a week and enjoy it rather than getting mad that you can’t finish all of it. I am a VERY causal player. I play maybe the same time as you to 8 hours a week on a good one. I enjoy just walking around, checking my guy out, and doing whatever of the new content I can finish. I am happy I only had to pay once to play and it makes me relax and enjoy the game and not feel that I need to bum rush and finish all of the content to enjoy it. Can you not step back and be happy you haven’t paid 160 plus worth of sub fees if this had a $15 a month like WoW?
I fins it irritating when GW2 players complain so much when the game is a one time cost and no fees afterwards. You are acting like Anet owes you because you throw your money at them. If you are spending money at the Black Lion for cosmetics when you play 2-3 hours a week, that is your problem. IT isn’t necessary to purchase it at all. Just try to enjoy the hours you do play. Then again, people who enjoy the game are too busy playing rather than complaining on forums. Have fun man, and don’t throw extra money to Anet when you play so little…
If I am wrong, please let me know in what way you are giving Anet your money.

GW2 the product was a one-time purchase that either provided value or not, depending on what a given player made of it. However, in addition to the product, ANet is offering GW2 as a service, and they make money on the service by players purchasing from the store. A consumer who dislikes what the service offers is unlikely to make such a purchase. One who cares enough to complain about the service is — with some exceptions, as this is the internet — likely doing so in the hopes that the company will change the service to be more what they’d like. If this happens, they very well might purchase something.
Complaining about complaints ignores that the feedback from customers guides the company in determining the nature of the service. Attempting to discourage the complaints is a disservice to your fellow posters and to the company.

Well said.
They took the tower out? LOL I thought it was going to stick around until the anti toxin meter was full, i find it very convenient that the meter was filled up on a Monday night, you know the night before the day they post the next major patch.
was it all a sham? gosh we will never know.
GG Anet removing the Tower and the fractals meta, before I could even complete a single chamber or fractal.
Even though I was very excited about the inner Tower, I didn’t have time to complete it yet. Now, everything’s gone.
Thank you, Anet. I just lost interest in the game. LS sucks.
The tower was in the game for a month. If you didn’t even enter it in that month then it’s not Anets fault. Find time for the content or miss out. The reason it was available for so long was so that people could try it when they wanted to anytime that month
The LS content has been really hit and miss, but overall I think the quality went up over the course of the year, and I expect they will only get better at it. They are still figuring out how it all works, what they can and cannot do, and what people want – and that’s fine with me, as long as they DO make progress.
I don’t personally like a lot of the limited content. My schedule changes a lot, and even if I’m interested in the achievement grinds, if I don’t think I will have the time to do it I just won’t play it at all that month, which I think is the problem. If the LS events were more interesting, I would want to play them just to play them, regardless of getting meta-achievements done. As it is, that has been my only motivation for a lot of it, and I find that to be disappointing. I should want to play because the LS events are fun and because I feel like they matter, even if I cant grind my way to whatever gimmicky reward I can get that release.
I also wish more content was open-world friendly. I love GW2 because I don’t play with groups of friends and I don’t like pugging. World events and mini dungeons are awesome ideas because I can interact with other players in meaningful ways without formally joining and dropping groups any time I want to do something cool. But a lot of the LS content doesn’t work that way, and I REALLY don’t like that. The idea of informal group play is part of what sold the game, and while there have been some really cool LS dynamic event content, it hasn’t felt very meaningful much of the time and is fewer and far between than I would like. But hey, I’m just one person, and maybe I’m just not a good example of their target demographic! If thats the case then I can’t blame anet for it.
Not all those who wander are lost”
It’s the quality of the LS that’s the problem, not the quantity. And I don’t think there’s any indication that will improve.
Hey at least they were respectful and kept their Living Story out of interesting content like Dungeons, Fractals, and WvW!
Um, you forgot to put /sarcasm at the end there.
And for the latest example of “respectful”, today’s release notes:
•Ho-Ho-Tron (aka Hobo-Tron) and Marcello DiGiacomo have returned, and they’re looking to collect coins and ugly sweaters for the victims of Scarlet’s attacks.
Wintersday? Really? Did they need to insert Scarlet there as well?
/collective guild sigh
While I agree that Anet should focus on the quality of the content for their Living Story releases (also keep in mind that the LS is treading on new ground in a F2P MMO, give it room to breathe), I need to be blunt to you. Anet doesn’t create content for EXTREME casuals like yourself. If you dislike that, this MMO isn’t for you. There are plenty of single player games out there for those type of 2-3 hr a week type people. Otherwise if you want to continue playing this game, you have to be content with the leftovers (aka fractals/TA and any other recap form that may be implemented). But I do want to leave you with a glimmer of hope. Anet has stated that they are looking into a way to be able to implement some form (possibly story only) of recap for each Living story release. So even if you can’t obtain the special titles or achievement metas (really all you are missing anyway), you can still be up to date on what is going on with the story.
To be honest, my personal opinion is that the LS is progressing way too slowly (we are half a year from when the first piece of LS came out and still don’t know Scarlet’s Motive). The reason people are leaving the game, is because of the quality of these releases, not because of the length. Each release lasts for four weeks, which is plenty of time for the average GW2 player to complete all they want to complete (the whole meta, or just the story). I think that GW2 does something fresh and new from other MMO’s that I’ve played, and has the potential to do awesome things with the LS. So once again, most every GW2 player is unhappy with the quality of each release (story-wise), not the length of time in between each release.
Also I want you to consider me as a casual gamer. I go to college and have 2 part-time jobs, yet I still have plenty of time to run fractals here and there, complete every meta of the LS (besides WvW because that would have taken way too long), and hang with my guildies from time to time. So get out there and do your LS achievements! Or find some single player game that works for you.

And if real life keeps you busy because of the time of the year and your have family, kids, jobs and other things eat into your play time that month? What keeps you playing then? Content with a time limit is only a half measure.
It’s the quality of the LS that’s the problem, not the quantity. And I don’t think there’s any indication that will improve.
Unfortunately the quantity is the cause of the lack of quality. It is my opinion that they need to either scale back their output or increase their staff.
Arguing With Authority
I need to be blunt to you. Anet doesn’t create content for EXTREME casuals like yourself. If you dislike that, this MMO isn’t for you.
I need to be blunt with you and everyone else who falsely labels players who dislike temporary content as “extreme casuals”, then blithely repeats this tired fallacy as if you and they speak for ArenaNet: You’re wrong.
Says who? Says Game Director Colin Johanson:
I wanted to take a moment and address this, it’s a totally fair question and something as a player (removing my GD hat) I’d wonder the same thing as well. As I covered in my blog post last month, a major focus of our living world releases in the second half of the year will be on focusing our living world releases on content that has a larger sense of persistence, and more permanent effect on the world.
And just in case that’s not clear enough, he goes on to say:
We’re also looking into options that would allow players to experience the story sequences that will go away as the story moves forward for those who missed them, but this is still a ways off as we look at various options.
There’s the long-term plan. Compare and contrast to “this MMO isn’t for you.”
And while you’re at it, ask yourself if you honestly think “this MMO isn’t for you” is something ArenaNet would ever say. I strongly recommend reading Colin’s entire post (and that entire thread) if why you’re wrong isn’t crystal clear at this point, because it’s important.
I’m sure it’s tempting to try to lend your opinions some weight by presenting them as official ArenaNet policy, but in doing so you are actually positioning yourself against ArenaNet’s stated interests and gutting your own credibility in the process.
You are not ArenaNet.
The Quest For Misunderstanding Continues
Again and again, in this thread and countless others, I see players say they don’t understand why so many players despise the temporary and exclusionary nature of the Living World, then go on to blame them for not liking it without making any effort to understand why, despite thousands and thousands of detailed explanations in this forum and around the Internet.
I don’t speak for ArenaNet, but I’m pretty sure they would appreciate it if more players would stop misrepresenting what they say and refrain from trying to drive other players away from the game.
If it’s your goal, despite ArenaNet’s repeated and consistent encouragement, to take it upon yourself to discourage honest feedback about Guild Wars 2, then I admittedly can’t stop you from keeping at it.
However, I can offer you this appeal: if you truly care about Guild Wars 2, then please learn to respect the fact that other players — and ArenaNet itself — will not always agree with you, and when that happens, it’s not because we or they are automatically wrong.
ArenaNet has made it very clear that they want Guild Wars 2 to be as successful as possible, and no successful business chases away customers.
Please don’t devote yourself to doing that in their stead.
It’s just wrong.

I think you’re missing the point here. You know, GW1 expansions had to be paid for. I think we would pay for GW2 expansions as well. I really, really hate how people always try to bring up this “You guys suck! You can only complain and want everything for free” nonsense and suchlike.
Right, technically they owe us nothing. Then again, technically we’re just voicing what we want, and what we’re ready to pay for (as well). So, what’s the problem?

Also, what this guy said.^

Ya people stop giving ANet money and this game will not be around. Thats a fact!!! How someone could be upset with a customer letting a company know what they are willing to pay for is a little odd IMO. I hope ANet makes some changes on what type of updates they focus on.
I’ll take that as a yes.
Given the amount of resources ArenaNet devotes to the Gem Store and its promotions, it would be “daft” to ignore it as a key source of income.
You seem to acknowledge that it’s optional, but seem to miss the rather obvious point that the very fact it IS optional means ArenaNet won’t gain any additional revenue from unhappy players who don’t make any additional purchases from them.
So please do explain how, exactly, ArenaNet’s business model benefits from unhappy customers. Or, for that matter, how your own brand of “irritating and illogical complaining” contributes anything worthwhile to the discussion.

I am not so bothered by the LS any more b/c I have changed. I was first thinking that it would be more connected but I got over that. I used to be very compulsive in hunting AP but I got over that. What I see is that there will be more LS coming; if I miss some, not a big deal b/c there will be more. I am much more discouraged by the bugs and other issues that are constant, like the targeting and such. I would prefer that Anet focus on that sort of thing. But LS is free, mediocre content that is entertaining for the time it’s here and that is okay w/me. Maybe Anet will do an expansion…

I think this is only partially true. A large part of the problem (IMO) is that Anet is not capable of telling well-written storylines/characters from bad ones. So I suspect we’ll see better content in a technical sense (less bug-ridden) but the storylines will be just as bad.
I too, like the OP, am a casual player and I like about half of the living story content we have had so far, it is very hit and miss. Regardless everything I love about the game when I first played is still present so why would I ever leave?
The mentality of the OP “I do not get to enjoy all the new content so I would rather experience none at all!”. Am I the only one that thinks this is a very odd stance of have?
Really I think people would say anything for a bit of attention, the living story is not great but hardly worth quitting over.

You must not have read my post very well. Main reason I am leaving is because I dont like having content poof on me I am enjoying and sometimes its even worse when its replaced by new LS content I dont enjoy. I would like to finish content at my own pace. 90% of all new content is of this type. This makes GW2 not an option for me and my family.
Also as pointed out. After being away for many months what is there to hook me into playing again? Most of the new content in the game has poofed and whats left behind is disjointed zones that have no meaning other then to grind mats. How has this helped the game?
