Quo vadis Atlas
Oh, cool! Last time I looked it didn’t have Dry Top, yet. Well done. =)
I see Dry Top. Anet, please add to the Atlas for Season 2. I enjoyed searching for clues during Season 1.
So now it’s official.
Atlas is gone. RiP

I guess they just removed the link. /shrug
With the new structure of the Living Story in-game, we don’t really need the Atlas anymore. I imagine it will get removed sometime soon.
Rather hilarious they spent effort on something which was well received – at least for the concept of it even if not the full implimentation – but it gets cut.
Like everything else in Season 1, it seems they couldn’t follow through for more than a couple months at best. Dunno if funny or sad, really.

Atlas was a nice idea but unfortunately to be done correctly requires constant input and work. Since ANet is in the business of video games it probably died down because it was a side project no one hand time for (although honestly even though it’s not part of the core business things like this really help the overall feel and player involvement).
They updated to Dry Top at least? Or do I understand something wrong?
On the other side: I don’t give a kitten on this Atlas. What’s the point in it? We have a map and this additional information – well it’s all in the game. If a lot of people think like me – I don’t know anyone else who uses this Atlas – then they just let it die out.
