Is there an NPC where we can still trade in our Ram Tokens? I didn’t know it would get taken away so suddenly so I hadn’t used mine.

I feel like this happens every festival.

It would be nice if there was a way to know in-game when a festival was ending. The way it currently stands, it seems like everyone learns this one hard lesson (hopefully once) where they end up having leftovers from the festival (MOST festivals go for two-weeks, last Wintersday lasted nearly a month though Dec. 16th 2014 – Jan 13th 2015, Every other Tuesday is usually when updates happen, so usually you see people in chat asking about the festival before Tuesday hits.) . Then they learn to check the wiki or this page or Dulfy’s, but again that requires them to go outside of the game (which may be intended). There is an Achievements’ Tab that shows the festival rewards and used to show when a festival ended, but I found that hard to find this time around and don’t recall if it was visible when I was logging in for this festival. I’m usually in a rush to log in.

Maybe even festival items can have some sort of monetary value so people could at least sell them or there could be a skritt NPC who’ll just collect anything from any festival. Yes there are currently some [Rewards Vendors] but they require a certain number of tokens in order to exchange goods. I think that way you could avoid having this happen to people every time.

Just a thought. Sorry, I have two unused ram tokens too, things prevented me from logging in last day like I thought I would. C’est la vie, don’t fret!

For some reason ANet has stopped putting in relevant information like stop dates on all its game updates and this causes people to be caught with various holiday tokens. All I can suggest if they don’t have a stop date, assume 2 weeks and get whatever you need done by then.

That is true. Hopefully Anet adds this to the LA Festival Token Exchange Norn.

I think I got it from the orginal game release notes:

“Every Black Lion Chest opened within the next two weeks will include a bonus Personalized Homemade Lucky Envelope”.

Maybe I’ve seen it somewhere else where it said two weeks, but I can’t remember where.
