This is probably obvious, but I need to do a couple achievements for LWS3 to finish things up. I can’t find a way to select the specific chapters I need to replay; I can only find a way to redo all of it. How do I replay just the parts I need?

I haven’t yet tried replaying it in pieces. But if it’s anything like the HoT LS, you open your Hero Panel, select the star tab for PS, click on the chapter you want, then click the button for “Play this Episode.”

Which is my point: I don’t need to replay the whole EPISODE, just a couple CHAPTERS. Especially pertinent since I don’t really want to do the mostly dialogue funeral chapter again. Is there some way to just replay the parts I actually need to for the achievements, or am I stuck doing the entire thing over.

From the Wiki:

Certain chapters will always be available directly through a purple star Living World
icon. These chapters contain special achievements that are only available while replaying the episode.

Thus, replay the Episode, then look for purple star(s).

Everyone is missing the point: HOW do you select a certain chapter to replay? I cannot find the necessary UI element to pick a chapter to replay, rather than the entire LWS3 episode.

You can only replay a certain chapter by utilizing the purple stars that will show up once you start the Episode.

I think we may be talking past each other on definitions… I am in the story panel and I don’t see any purple stars…

The purple stars show on the map, not in the Journal.

You have to start the full episode like for example season 3 episode 1 then go to were the chapter in that episode start on the world map for the achievements you want and look for a purple star

You don’t. You restart the episode on a toon that has already done it then go to the location of the instance you want. If you then don’t want to do anything else you can just abandon it.

Like others have stated, start the LS episode and then go to where you would enter the story instance. Instead of the “portal” being green, as it was in your first playthrough on that character, it will be purple. It’s been like this since LS2 in 2014.

If you replay a chapter, the story column will aim you at the first part, but the instance markers of all spots can be found. Theyre purple on the map. But without an aim, you kinda need to know where they are

I had the same problem. Didnt see the option to replay certain episode. I was at the end of HoT episode 8 and wanted to replay it for achivements. What i had to do is leave the instance first then open the journal, select the same episode again and now “Replay this chapter” button appeared.

So try leaving the instance first
