I really think Rytlok knew what was going to happen. He didn’t go into specifics on how he obtained the weapon and the information on how to use it. He equated his life to the sword and quickly jumped into a gaping hole in the ground. I really feel like Rytlok is chasing power and wants to become the highest ranking Charr. Just my thoughts

whatever he is doing, or whatever he knows I now have even more respect for him jumping into the pit without hesitation. He’s a good character, I like how in front of Rox he’s quite stern but when talking to you he says “its for her own good” – he’s not like the one dimensional members of the munch bunch I’m forced to be grouped with. He has an edge to him.

I actually liked this last chapter without the Kasmeer and Marjory being around. Also found that together the DE2.0 are really annoying but separated they aren’t nearly as bad.

Its something about those characters that don’t seem to gel together.

I’m just hoping what he is doing will open up a new Underworld Elite mission. Quests inside it to find and save Rytlock? Make it so Anet, make it so.

So, if we have Fiery Dragon Sword Sohothin, can we make a rift and jump in to help Rytlock?

I think they know it too. When Belinda says she’s looking foward to spending time with the Biconics, Marjory drily tells her that she probably won’t think that way after a few days with them.

Either way, I hope he doesnt die and comes back soon.

I miss him already, as someone above said, the only character I managed to like and care about from the DE group.
In fact… Probably the only character I managed to like ever-since the Mentors.

rylock was one of the better characters in the book in my opinion.
