One of the best things about the whole Scarlet Invasion scenario was you knew that every hour it would happen and you could plan when you would play accordingly.

Now, they haven’t stopped and I hope they don’t ever. But it would still be nice to be able to plan when you play in order to do the most stuff. The yellow announcement in the crawl is easy to miss if your busy.

I use the online dragon timers. You got everything pretty much on daily Cool Downs, so why not just bite the bullet and give us in game timers for all the events. Sure some people are gonna go from event to event but you got the built in cool downs and they can only do so much. So constantly farming the same event is useless. We would be able to optimize our time and get the most out of it and do a whole lot less standing around. And people would show up and if you did the 10-15 minute spawning window for a overflow with the event no one would be too unhappy to be in overflow. The day two of us tried to do Claw in overflow is still pretty funny! We did get through the crystals but he was a bit much.

Great suggestions. As far as regular meta events are concerned I use the GW2stuff overlay, and guildees call out events to give each other a heads up…
For the Scarlet invasions however, we could definately use a better idea of when to expect the next invasion. It seems to me they are roughly 6hrs apart?? It is very disappointing to miss a great event because Im busy in a dungeon with guildees at the rare moment an invasion is announced

I’d rather see it random to be honest. More exciting and surprising, less farmable, fewer players rigidly scheduling their game time around the most optimal farm clock. But I suspect I’ll be in a minority here, heh.

She is keeping it random and it scares you? Exactly what the Joker of GW2 wants!

I wish they would keep the Invasion message up longer!

What about the heralds? Shouldn’t they tell us if Scarlet is attacking a particular area?

I been on for quite a bit tonight more than 4 hours and I never saw an invasion. I did use the timer and bump around for chests though.

The one thing I would like to do and wish Anet would simplify or clarify is the temple events. They just never seem to happen so no one bothers. And the timers never seem to be right.

What’s wrong with jumping to events, if your having fun and enjoying yourself? And getting it done! You can only do each event once a day and even that gets boring if you do it too much.

But Scarlet is too much fun to miss.

I’ve now heard that they occur every 3 hours, every 4 hours, and every 6 hours. I’m beginning to wonder if they’re happening on any kind of fixed rotation or if they’re random. Honestly, if Scarlet were any kind of genius she wouldn’t make her invasions so easy to follow.
