Guild Wars 2

I recently listen to the song Fear Not This Night, and every time I listen to it, it pulls me into the Guild Wars universe. The art, the characters, the lore. I felt that over the last year, the Living World didn’t really connect with my guild wars one experience or the personal story. New characters, new plots, and new mechanics. At first it felt slow, but as the year went on… everything grew stronger. This story arch did succeeded in the end. Watching scarlet dead on the floor made me feel sorry for her… but watching the dragon awaken made the sense of danger more real. I love the peril that we face as these unbelievable forces work against us.
I really hope that we can move on past Season 1 and return to the lore set for us in the Personal Story, if not clarify points from the personal story. I hope if can bring lore and characters from Guild Wars back into the picture. I hope it can carry on the tales of the new characters. We need a sense of unity and I feel the death of scarlet has set the stage for just that. I’m not looking for another year of waiting each week for another part of the story only to piece it all in the end. I’m looking for a story I can hit the ground running with and be able to look back to how I got here. I have high expectations for this season and am ready for some expansions worthy content and lore. I want to be afraid of these dragons. I look forward to the future.
