If players help out the local Skritt, they will gain access to their tunnels which allow quick travel to different areas of the map

So now we get to traverse more skritt tunnels? (according to ZAM article)
I wonder if they’ve finally given us a way to get to blue in one quick ‘jump’. Hopefully they stay active for a while before the help event (whatever it’ll be) occurs again.

Additionally, players will be able to test themselves with the new Drydock Scratch jumping puzzle where skritt pirates are assembling a ship deep beneath the Silverwastes

And new JP. I both do and don’t look forward to it. Kinda glad its underground, as the open air and the height of the Dry Top one kinda freaks me out.

Oh so they actually were going to use those hostile skritt for something. My guess is the JP is somewhere around that area.

The skritt stuff is the only welcome surprise here, to me. I want to see what kind of ship they’re building. If it’s an airship, that’s awesome but suggests that there’s enough skritt there to think at that level. If it’s a water ship, then what do they know that we don’t to suggest that they’d even want one here? And if it’s a sand ship, will they show me how to build one of my own if I ask nicely?

Otherwise, it’s good to progress the story, but that’s not really a surprise. Not so sure I’ll like where the story is going, though. Not after the forced stupidity of the main character last time.

Well it could be just a few skritt building the ship, which would mean they probably wouldn’t have the intelligence to know not to build a water vessel in a desert.
though it would be pretty cool to see the skritt build a flying vessel (maybe even a ‘spacecraft’ ) and see them as the pirate faction. Would love to see a skritt sky/land/water pirate gang/clan/whatever.
