Guild Wars 2

Two things.
First, we haven’t had a short story post in a while, which makes me sad.

Second, I decided to go play some GW1 with my guild this week. I missed part of the Guild Wars Beyond content and wanted to do it.

I guess this was kind of GW1’s version of living story. The first story arc, War in Kryta, lasted 4 months. A neat thing about this is, the content is still available now. Secondly, a scribe documented everything during that event .Which is a nice way to get a recap, without playing the content.

Is there a reason why we couldn’t have something similar to this? A scribe documenting all these living story events?

I support the scribe idea… not necessarily a fan of big walls of text but the concept is certainly worth it. Although something akin to the Personal Story journal wouldn’t be bad at all.
