It’s utterly worthless. It’s only usable in the new map.
If you have others still to unlock then I’d do those first, this is one of those ones where you don’t need to have it, and it’s not a fun thing like Oakhearts Reach. It has come in handy for me once, where it auto rezzed me when the wyvern blew me off the cliff and I died of fall damage, so it saved me running back from a shrine. It’s just a luxury one to have.
It is the least useful mastery in the game. Feels more like a mastery for the sake of having one, rather than a well designed game mechanic that you need to use for anything.
I didn’t like the Oakheart one either, but that at least is very well incorporated/complimentary to the map design.
If you’re not going to really play in the zone, there’s really no point to it. Its randomness can also make it useless. Rarely however, it can by overpowered. Lyssa is a 100% damage reduction for 90s for example, while Grenth is essentially 90s of quickness and Balthazar 90s of increased damage. Dwayna is just a revive on death while Melandru is essentially just a pet.
Thanks. That’s kind of what I suspected but wanted to hear from some folk who’ve actually used it. I’m not Mastery Point rich and want to make sure I put them where I’ll get the most benefit. I appreciate the info.
