Sirens of Orr - please explain
I’m struggling to understand anything about this mastery. How does it activate? How regularly should it activate? What are the conditions for it to appear? Does it have to be in Orr? Do the reliquaries have to be activated? I don’t understand at all x.x
Its an RNG buff, not much else to it. You rarely get a buff, a glowing orb you must pick up. Then you when you have the special action key two things can happen
You down, and use it, or you channel to use it. Then you get a functional buff.
Im not exactly sure what anet was hoping to achieve here since the buffs dont do anything significant.. yet
It feels like they had this mechanic planned for a while but couldn’t find a good place for it so they went “kitten it” and just stuck it here. It feels really out of place.

That would certainly fit the theme of the rest of this episode!
as far as my testing goes the echo thingy spawns randomly when in combat [with fairly low spawn rate] and seems to spawn only on the sirens shore.
after getting into interaction with the thingie you get special ability which sticks until you use it or leave the map – needs testing how it interacts with counter magic ability.
looks fun, seems fun, lore behind it seems fun, but then imo it is to limited in comparision to previous things….

well all we have is the testing we can do ourselfes and what’s little of testing done by other people and is published on the internets…..
