Piken Square
So China is starting after season 1
Piken Square
There might be NPCs talking a bit about it (the biconics seems to be present in this patch), but other than that it would most likely simple be as for us when the game was released and all those stuff had already happened (foefire, dragonbrand, rising of Orr and so on).

This totally exists and is awesome. I just found it today. I’m a returning player and this is very handy.
Why do they have to be on the same release schedule as the NA/EU servers?….the game is NOT identical nor are the servers in any way linked (from what I understand).
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances

The only issue is spoilers but yeah no other reasons as far as I know.
Because if they are on the same release schedule Anet can say “worldwide release” and not be lying. It’s a great marketing strategy, you make all players feel as if they’re being treated equally. Pay attention to Asian MMO’s and the way the western community reacts to getting the updates months later – they’re not happy.
If you do the Claw Island Dock LS mini scene, then talk to Taimi, she gives a little run down of Scarlet’s history as if summarizing a research paper she’s writing. It’s way too dumbed down to actually be a genius progeny’s efforts, and lacks any nuanced detail, but it does at least lay out the order of events.
Plus for watching the whole scene you get a gift box. I had 100 festival tickets in mine (not the big “trade this in for one of the two prizes” thing, just the currency for the festival) and a few Gauntlet tickets as well. And 8 quartz crystals.
it just seems to be a strange way to start LS for them, especially as you have Bhram and Marj talking about his leg and her face, without any context it’s a very strange introduction to these characters.
However I guess it does introduce them well, and perhaps the discussion in the chinese version is slightly different.
