Will it be a lot more difficult for me to do the content at level 35? If not when does the current one end? I might wanna jump on it before it’s over.

You will be upleveled in the areas and instances of the event. Make sure that your gear is also lvl 35 so its stats will be upleveled correctly, with you. Despite the lack of traits, you shouldn’t have a lot of trouble participating on the living story.
A new chapter will start today, but I do not know if the previous chapter will end today or if the chapters will overlap.
