I’ve been wondering for a while now, will ANet keep patching the game with new Living World every 14 days line in S1 or will something change?
Could it be that they are pausing with new story until the game is launched in China?

I’m extremely impatient and would like you opinion >.< !!

Well yes they most likely wont release anything until China is fully launched, but that’s not far off since they’re in open/paid beta now.

As to how they will manage the story releases – we don’t know yet.

I still hope that they will “pause” it forever.

I guess season 2 will start a short time after the official launch of GW2 China. My estimation would be middle/end of June.

Yes please, who doesn’t like to do the same content over and over and over and over and over…. Anet please don’t continue living story, we’ll keep killing shatterer day in day out..

We just want a new state of the game announcement and a time table that’s all, waiting without knowing is irritating.. Just say S2 will kick off on “xx.xx.xxxx” and you can expect these things in 2014 and all will be ok… Being left in the dark is what bothers most peops..

I honestly can’t wait for season 2. For many reasons, 1. being I like seeing new content and 2. Ever since LS1 started their events have become progressively better, I can only imagine what they might bring in S2. I am very excite.

And to answer your question, yes, it is because of the China release but that should all be finished soon. Expect an announcement of some sort by May 15-16 ish if not sooner.

But still, we have so much interesting lore with its mysteries and we can only get them one at a time.

My honest guest would be 2 fridays from now on the 16th after it officially releases in china, during a ready up since they always have those on fridays. I would be surprised if it was any earlier but would be happy none the less.

i’m hoping we get some sort of dragon bash over the summer, and a few medium installments up until the end of this year.. better storyline missions and content instead of the loreless ‘jump the shark’ faceroll we had with many of the season 1 releases..

i think one of the developers mentioned big content was planned for 2015.. i’m really hoping for an interesting storyline for season 2 that will transition this game into expansion content.. something like, we get to western tyria and there is already a conflict being waged between mordremoth and the inhabitants.. new allies to be made, new enemies..
