I have this weird feeling Anise is behind it all (or that’s not the real Anise and that sylvari “disguise” wasn’t a disguise). Why the hell for instance does she need an assasin to spy on the pact for her.

If that DOES turn out to be case then poor Canach’s going to once again find himself haplessly aligned with the wrong side.

Anise is all about misdirection. Having a known patsy with a desire to be more run around and do stuff is a good misdirection.

“Poor Canach” – my very first thoughts too when I heard that Anise recruited Canach for some future undercover Shining Blade missions … Assume that Anise is Livia and assume that Livia still is after the Scepter of Orr (or is working on any other dodgy scheme) … Canach didnt had any choice, he has to obey the one who bailed him out. Anise / Livia might be rejoicing, having ‘acquired’ such a useful asset (Canach the handyman =8-) ). Big value for little money. ^^ However, I have a spark of hope that Canach will be able to turn the tables.

Booga: I took the bullets out of their guns. That was smart, huh?
Tank Girl: Booga, that was very smart.

I didn’t feel sorry for him at all. He can handle his self just fine. Besides you should note, that he called Anise out on something I have suspected for a long time, that she is really old and using her magic to cover up that age. I don’t know if I would go 275 years old but old yes. Livia was a Necromancer not a Mesmer, and although changing your secondary was possible back then changing you main was never possible.
