Where?
The hologram in Scarlet’s house says she sent her steam creatures through steam portals to Lornar’s Pass and Brisban Wildlands. The Lornar’s Pass steam critters are easy, but where are they in Brisban Wildlands?

i know there are some open world events where asurans play around with a gate.. some steam creatures come through.. as for some appearing on their own, it’s not one of my more traveled maps and i’d have to look around

She’s talking about the past, so it’s quite possible that it was a one time thing she did as a test, hence we no longer find them in Brisban.

Though http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Steam_Mechataur are found in Brisban, but I think they come through an Asura Gate. Seriously though, the wiki is your friend, it will tell you what monsters can be found on what maps.

I know… I’ve helped build it. And that’s why I’m asking. The wiki is far from complete and is not as reliable as everybody seems to think. It says they exist in Duskstruck Moors, but that’s where the event is. I’m asking if there’s ACTUALLY any steam creatures in Brisban.

I do not know of any place else in Brisban that they show up.

to be quite honest i think it was just current arena net tying up what could be considered loose ends.. i’m surprised they didn’t add,
scarlet briar – oh, what a fun time i had buzzing off to the future.. how i enjoyed conquering it all.. i even brainwashed an overachieving asuran into thinking he was the mastermind.. grand high solver or whatever it’s called..  tee hee          -_-

There’s a group of asura, Ulta Metamagicals , testing portal calculations with some crystals found there.

Sometimes Steam creatures pop through one of the portals and start an event, other times it’s griffons or icebrood, though.

The also pop sometimes in Toxal Bog.
