Story arc involving Liandri
Hehe, would be a nice “DLC” to Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars 2: Side-stories
A collection of short instances showcasing all the Queen’s Gauntlet champions; maybe they could be given a purpose outside gauntlet so that they are perhaps tougher solo/guild challenges.
Surely they live lives outside the gauntlet; imagine Liadri and Suriel teaming up in Orr and the damage they would do and what a mess they would leave in their wake.

even better bandits want to ruin queens jubelee nr3 and we fight side by side to liadri and all those others..
liadri just oneshots champ bandits
i think this could be really fun
i would have gladly traded in my liadri for the character to have some dialogue or Something this time around.. z_z wasn’t on arena net’s agenda
What if a dragon corrupts her and we have to cleanse her from the dragon’s corruption? A massive world event? Imagine all of the people whining in map chat! IT WOULD BE GLORIOUS!
Methinks Laidri would make an interesting ally. Perhaps as a mercenary/representative sent by Queen Jennah to aid in the anti-Mordremoth campaign.
id rather they add more bosses tiers to the pavilion then concentrate on ones already there.
Liandri was born into a rich noble family of Divinity’s Reach. Her father was a tradesman, selling fine silks to the other nobles. Her mother was one to constantly have company over, whether it be business partners, or friends, or other nobles visiting from far away.
Unfortunately, while this family looked happy and cheerful during the day, at night, when everyone was home and only the family and servants were in, a new father and mother would come out. Gone was the cheerful and friendly businessman, replaced by an angry, scornful man who belittled and complained about every person he had to deal with that day.
As for the wife, gone was the woman who laughed at even the smallest jokes from her friends, and in her place came a woman who ranted about every small mistake made during that day, and jealousy towards her ‘friends’.
Liandri didn’t understand why. And soon she learned to bother her parents during this time was a mistake. They forced her up to her room for just ask silly questions, or wanting to play. There would be no supper, and no light to comfort her.
Soon, the night versions of her parents began to emerge during the day whenever she was around. They would shoo her, tell her to go somewhere else. And when she dare rebelled, they took the last thing they could from her, her friends.
Eventually, she learned the art of Illusions and became a Mesmer. If anything, her training was a good means to get away from her parents. But hard times soon fell upon the family, and the blame landed on Liandri for the cost of her training. She was locked in her dark room, the only comfort she was given was conjuring her own illusions to hold her.
Once old enough, she left her family, cutting all ties, and became a wandering adventurer. She soon became known as Liandri the Dark, for how she seemed incased in darkness, the same with her illusions. She was a deadly force, able to win battles without ever taking a scratch. And those that do seem to break the darkness are met by a woman so fierce, so vicious, that they become blinded by her light and beauty, and are stuck down in one blow.
It’s Liadri.
What’s so interessting about her?

I actually wanted to apply a similar idea which I will go into detail about in the LS forum later, but I do like the idea of side stories we play, sure, we could also pay for them too.
