Disclosure: I just started playing the new area…computer died a big death and had to wait for a payday to pick up the necessary replacement parts.

A guildie had all 3 pieces of the Svanir Disguise…used them…but then went out of bounds and it dropped the transform…which I understand is supposed to happen.

The weird thing was, the chest piece disappeared. It was no longer in his inventory. He has to find another one. (He hasn’t gotten it yet, but we also have not gone Svanir hunting again…yet. )

Is this a one-use gizmo and then it consumes a piece and you have to get another one? Or was this just a crazy happening and it should be collect them once and use them forever?

Indeed. You need to collect the 3 parts each time you want to use the disguise. (You can collect more of each, if you so desire; the disguise will remove 1 of each part from your inventory.)

For me, it has always consumed all 3 pieces. Could your guildie possibly had 2 of the other items in inventory?

It may have been…I’m not sure if he knew if he had more than one of each piece.

Sounds like, from how you phrased it, that its a collect as you need it and its a 1 use thing? Am I understanding that right?

For me the disguise randomly dropped right before I entered the hut. Now I have none of the pieces, do I simply hunt down svanir until I collect all four pieces or should the chest pie have stayed in my inventory?

You need to find each piece of the armour each time you want to wear it and talk to the Svanir shaman heart vendor. They should disappear after being used once, but will drop after you start fighting the area Svanir again.
