Is there a point to the disguise outside the story instance? I got another set just playing in the bitterfrost frontier. Wondering if I should use it for rp purposes, or if there is an actual use? I already know how to make the elixir. Does it at least make svanir friendly? Maybe going through the zone is easier that way to collect chests.

Tbh, im more concerned on how my warrior is better at disguises than my mesmer. The disguise even mimicks the size and forzen limbs

It has the same use as the story. It’s limited to that area, makes them friendly and allows you to access the heart vendor.

1. The disguise disappears once you leave the sector of the map where you need it.

2. Yes, there is a repeated purpose to the disguise: if you are doing the daily heart quests, you need to to enter the Western room in the Svanir section in order to talk to the quest NPC and reap your rewards.
