If you listen to the Asura during her portion of the latest chapter, they believe she is fraternizing too much, yet, its a good thing because it keeps her and her device away from everyone.
She is too cute and fuzzy to have something happen to her… now maybe her device… another story….

If it helps the story, by all means kill her off. George RR Martin would’ve disposed of her about now. She studies Scarlet and we need a little sacrifice in order to progress. And we’d have one less pesky asura in the world of Tyria…

I would enjoy it wholeheartedly if she died. I don’t mind the character. I mind the sole asuran intellect to be put to discover the new, exciting intrigues of Arenanet Plot Points 0.1 is a randomized child, that happens to be a watered down version of Zojja.
Really now. Another asura female with a golem and a sassy attitude.

We can do much better. Bring in the quirky males and the actually brilliant asuran females, not unsupervised children to work as Deus Ex Machina’s for the plot.

And if I am the boss of this new group, I’d kick out a “genius” who pulls off experiments with a success rate of 53/78% – I’ve killed hundreds/thousands of Inquest, I’ll just kill a few more of them by hand instead of having a child try some experiments…

The rules are against children being harmed or killed “on screen”. Offscreen killing, such as heading to the machine and being told by Kasmeer that Taimi was killed while we were trying to break the curse with Rytlok, is perfectly legit.

As awesome as that would be I think we’ve seen that sassy female is pretty much the LS default. And expecting a male? hah! That’s the last thing they want.

The only thing that brings a tear to my eye is that Taimi is the favourite character of one of the players that posted here on the forum about her physical disability in real life, that was pretty much almost identical to the one Taimi has, and therefore it was thanking the entire staff for coming up with a character she could identify with.

Other than this, she’s just a loly, but will not die for the “Kawaii” factor she brings to the game.

I don’t think Taimi should die to be honest. I like her as a character. However, if she survives this experience, hopefully it will humble her some, and we’ll find her hanging back more, rather than being directly in the line of danger. We need more characters that we have to go to for answers, rather than conveniently get carried in our pockets. I felt like Taimi being left at Scarlet’s old place in Prosperity was a step in the right direction as far as this goes. We simply didn’t come up with anything to bring her is the problem.

As it is though, there are other characters in DE 2.0 I’d like to see bite the bullet or go to live off-screen first.
