What’s behind the gate? A new map? The surviving rata novans? White mantle? The next elder dragon?

Let me just note here that she clearly says ‘’the gate’‘, and not ’’a gate’’, possibly meaning she’s been focused with working on one gate only. And what is the most important gate in Rata Novus right at the spot where we saw her last time? Exactly, the one leading further into Rata Novus.

That would be the most likely outcome, but remember asura gates can be re-“tuned” to another location. It’s just not done often because it’s an expensive process. Plus, with ley line energy going nuts, I think Anet have plenty of artistic licence to have it open to wherever they want.

Please let it be an enclave of Rata Novans who’ve managed to survive isolated from the outside world! I’d willingly give an organ or two to hear (yes, with audio) Asurans speak in… Asura.

GW1 had Nika speaking in Canthan. I really hope they do something similar in GW2. I mean, isn’t that what epic RPGs are about? Visiting new lands, exploring new cultures?

Plus points include increasing the depth of in-game lore, and saving money on having to translate those lines of text into French, German or Spanish.

Actually, that would be so awesome.
You can combine it with the mastery system too! Like, they talk in a completely foreign language until you master their language and it turns to english. Of course there had to be an on off switch for that one so you can listen on the foreign stuff whenever you want, simply cause it would be awesome and contribute so much to the immersion!

I hope it links to the Central Transfer Chamber…meeting up with Stone Dwarves and fighting Destroyers, several Destroyer Queens and another “Great Destroyer” building up to Expansion 2 and Primordus.

But I am sure that’s just wishful thinking…:)
