Bobby Stein’s 3rd post says:

“Maybe I wasn’t clear in my other post. Tequatl becoming stronger (and Rox being present) are both tied into the overall LW story. More will be revealed later.”

We were told about why Rox was there….if she brought back Tequatl’s tail, she could join Rytlock’s warband. That however changed with the arrival of Scarlet.

So what about the becoming stronger part?

We have one more patch, will they tie it in or no? The only thing i can think of is the ley line that is running under LA also runs near where Teqautl is?

That’s still yet to be revealed. I think it’s more likely to do with Zhaitan’s death than leylines.

The overall LW story doesn’t have to mean season one of the Living Story.
It is quite possible that season two might have more focus on Elder Dragons, and thus explain it there.

When we shot Zhaitan down from the tower, perhaps he fell down right ontop of the ley lines. Being crippled and almost defeated, he felt that he was right ontop of the ley lines and started feed on it.

Tequatl is getting stronger because Zhaitan is actually still alive an is starting to recover! In comes the Zhaitan fight remake we’ve all desperately wanted =D

I liked this connection

Personally I think that the Elder Dragons can’t be truly killed. If they die, their magic/spirit simply transfers to the next most powerful of its minions, which then evolves into the next Elder Dragon. That’s what’s been happening with Tequatl; eventually it will become the new Elder Dragon of Undeath.
