Hi, im trying to finish my Silverwastes Achievments and the only thing that i’m missing is The Annihilator. Camped for the last 4 or 5 days at Red Rock Bastion and defended the kitten thing, i don’t know, 20 or 30 times. Sometimes with lots of ppl, sometimes with only a handfull of guys. No Annihilator, nada, zilch, zip… The other legendary bosses appear… at random, as i read it from chat…

How am i suppose to do this? Should i pray to the God of RNG? Do some offerings?
Or is there any strategy? I know i have to successfuly defend the keep… Is there anything else?

There are less and less players doing it, how are we supposed to finish some of these achievments? I also look for organized groups in the LFG tool and there are less and less of those.

I’ve seen people claim that the Legendaries spawn more regular under various conditions (how many keeps are held, their defence levels, how many people are at a keep, etc) but I’ve not seen any sort of official statement to confirm it. I think even if there are factors that improve spawn rate, it’s still a case of RNG is RNG.

I know how you feel though, I spent most of the two weeks looking for the Demolisher while the other three seemed to just keep popping up. Finally got it over the weekend when he spawned just as I was about to go off on Sunday.

I know that if i keep trying it will happen eventualy. But it could be today, tomorrow, next week, next month… Who knows?…
The whole living story update was awesome and fun. Did all the achievments, collections, etc. Wasn’t hard, frustrating or anything! But these achievments for the random bosses, that might spawn or not, are no fun! Doesnt depend on me, or the ppl i play with. There’s just nothing i can do but camp at the fort, defend it and wait.

I sympathize – I was popping in for about an hour a day and camping indigo hoping to catch Demolisher and finally got it last night. It will happen.

Stand somewhere out of combat close to where the Legendary spawns (somewhere safe where mobs won’t get to you), open your LFG and wait for some good soul to taxi people to a map where the mob has spawned. That’s the only reliable way as far as I know, it’s how I got mine.

Thanks for the advice Silvia. I look at the LFG tool from time to time, but i’ll try to keep a closer look at it while doing the events on Red Rock.
