They do need something for people to chase after for the next two weeks on the hamster wheel…..meh, why not, I’ll run on it again for awhile.

True, but now the fossils will be even more rare due to more stuff in the chests to get. Wish there was a way to opt out of getting the ascended mats out of those chests…
Hopefully those kites are tradeable.

Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
Dude, those female tauren are just great and a big upgrade to their old model. Geez.

Ow… ow.. wish I could un-see that.
Makes me actually quite pleased that Anet didn’t take that approach with Charr and Asura….
Now I have eye cancer too…..thanks!

For the Love of all that is Holy, DON’T CLICK THAT LINK!!!!!!! not that its offensive to anyone….just…wow…..
And to keep this thread on topic, That description said ’begin construction of a new back item……" Get ready for more endless crafting!!! ….I literally feel like a hamster being duped into running on an endless wheel….I better go stretch my fingers and take some energy drinks…..
I’m sure the link is safe, it’s just how female Tauren have been upgraded to smooth out pixelated angles and give them more facial expressions. However, they have human-style chests, which is bothersome to those who prefer not to anthropomorphize non human races.
Anyway, while I’m not reading things too closely because I’d rather just play later today and see for myself, I did note that the kites give a movement boost. Interesting. I wonder how much of one, what the restrictions are on use, and how much RNG is involved in getting one.
I noted the movement speed increase for the kites too. Made me go “hmm” I don’t know if I’d use one or not, if I got lucky enough to find one.
I look forward to the back piece though. It looks like it might be interesting.

None of the articles have anything spoilerish. At least nothing we don’t already know from the video (that we’re going to Ascalon, Iron Marches specifically, though Plains of Ashford is a given too). Each has pretty much the same info, which is short. Only Massively and Zam have screenshots, which don’t really show anything (other than Barradin again).

Chances are that we will bounce around more as the dragon corruption spreads. When we first started the game there were undead already spreading corruption all throughout the world. This time we get to see it spread first hand.
I suspect the next few releases will deal with the effect of the corruption on each of the races, culminating in a break with a feature patch and then focusing on the slyvari and heading further west, maybe even discovering another slyvari tree.
I would like to see what this new back item looks like.

Doesn’t that backpack reminds a bit of Scarlet hairstyle?
