I really hope we get to finally kill Scarlet now -.- if in this instance I can shove my guardians hammer in her face, I will be a happy guy.

Though the new dungeon is cool, those mobs are much more challenging than normal ones which is fun

Randomized dungeons. Would make sense and it could be explained with strong hallucinations coming from the pollen of this tower.

Any reason why Norway isn’t allowed to enter the video contest? Not part of EU – and EEA isn’t sufficient?

I mean c’mon it dealt with awakening a lake monster after all!
In a few hours I’ll listen to the chorus over this video muted and see if “Awaken, Awaken, Awaken..” or “I command you to rise, rise, rise!” fits.

No you weren’t. Everything about these last updates surrounding this tower is awesome except that song in the background… Where is the good voiceover covering what we may face (Hell I’d have been glad if it was Scarlet doing the VO for the preview!) I want more songs like “Fear Not This Night” this is fantasy we are playing not hard rock! XD

Not just you, the whole video was excruciating.

The song is awesome. Now if I could only find it from the soundcloud where I understood it should be, I can then add it to my nearly nonstop playlist with the holodance beats and the occassional The Great Toymaker and Hillbilly Hoedown.

…I could just find the information of how long this LS chapter will last. I’m at 7/14 and want to rely on the dailies… I’m suspecting it is for four weeks but if I could only know for sure.

Is the creature with Scarlet new or is it just something in the game that I have never seen?

I’m cautiously optimistic now about this update after hearing that. I’m curious if this is going to work similar to the Queen’s Jubilee / Scarlet’s Show Down instance in that the mini-dungeons are more or less one off boss fights that scale with how many people are in your group.

This update has a chance to end the string of god awful ones we’ve gotten since said Jubilee, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that this is the start of something wonderful.

For the love of Abbadon…Make the Gasmask an achievement reward akin to the Hellfire and Radiant pieces, I need more than one - NEEED.

Dear Arena Net, why did you not use this soundtrack for your trailer? Or anything from the Guild Wars 2 soundtrack. Jaysus … the trailer is too spooky for me.

The music is horrid…. I’m sure someone else will love it. But not me.

If it’s min-dungeons, I hope they scale. I don’t feel like spamming LFG to enjoy the content.

The design sounds intriguing. I have moderate hope it will be.

Ok 2 things. First, I do not care about the end rewards for this dungeon/mini-dungeon, I care about it being fun, unique, and new. If the only thing I wanted what to get more loot, I could just farm Frostgorge or Queensdale all day.
Second: I’m fairly sure we won’t be battling against fine and masterwork armor. :P

The new video was cool. The music wasn’t, but that’s just my personal taste.

The music was obviously to promote the contest there having why is it so hard to guess why they used it for the trailer.Also Nightmares are a twisted horrific version of a dream that instills fear or discomfort thats also another reason to use the music as it fits in a nightmare theme hence the music in a sense is perfect for the video and overall theme of a nightmare.

I almost suspect that they deliberately chose to make the video footage not match with the soundtrack to avoid influencing the contest entries. (Or alternatively, to avoid comparison between their work and the contest entries).
