Seriously, when I heard about the living story I thought it would fill in the unexplored area on the map. After an entire year of living story only Southsun has been permanently added (and it’s great – difficulty level also, lacks reasons to go back however – was more fun on release), we also had the Sanctum (which I also loved but it was removed!).

Are you going to add only 1 area to explore per year and not offer expansions?

They have said expansion style content is coming (who knows when) that may expand on the map.

Of all the annoying things to know but not do anything about are the vast areas we’re never able to go to. It bothered me in GW1 and even more so in GW2.

If you’ve ever seen the world map of Tyria (the entire globe), its even more of a bummer. We’re only able to access forty percent of what we see which is less than 10% of the entire globe.

Probably 100% of players would like to see new areas open up. But that kind of content takes a LONG TIME to make, and won’t happen often.

I am looking forward to seeing more of the map open up, and I WOULD like to see devs prioritizing that kind of content, but it probably won’t happen any time soon.

We’ve already been told what to expect for the remainder of 2013, and it didn’t include opening new areas, so I don’t expect it to happen this year. But HOPEFULLY we will get some significant new content like new explorable areas in 2014.

my biggest problem is if they dont take their time and do it better it’ll be garbage that we dont want to visit anymore after the ls is done and right now im not sure they can with what they have brought us already. what we’ve gotten is herky jerky stuff that just seems to be thrown together. til they show us they can provide material better id rather they not do exspansions like material
