Why is this not in? It is a small request because its just for convenience. Right now any new characters made on an account that already has the episode unlocked on a character will not have access to that episode.

Is Anet really hurting that much for cash? I would hope not. This may have just been a little oversight on their part , but yah this is really inconvenient.

It is unlocked for the account, it is supposed to be at least.

It will not be available until you are level 80 though.

It’s unlocked for all my characters. I will have to check later in the week when I make a new character whether it shows up in the Journal, or not, I suppose.

But, the News Blog, Patch Notes and Livestream all state it unlocks account-wide, so….

I think it’s unlocked account-wide but you have to play through on each character.

Indeed, the story is unlocked account-wide, and playable on all your characters. The ability to access the achievements is unlocked character-wide, and must be unlocked by each individual character, thus making the rewards capable of being attained multiple times. Or so I understand.

Bold is the issue there buddy. Season 2 is for level 80 characters only, new characters start out as level 2 after the tutorial. You’ll get access to Season 2 on new characters after they become level 80.

Gotta admit, I don’t really think a whole lot of this. I’d much rather progress was made for -all- characters as far as the content goes. I can appreciate giving us a method to get rewards for doing the story-part on multiple characters, but I’d rather we just kept to it being account wide.

I like it the way it is, so I can replay the story an each alt, the same as the personal story.
