Just got back into the game and I cant unlock part 2 of dragon’s reach. I completed all the previous episodes but it says part 2 is locked.When I click the buy option it says “check internet connection.” Is it too late to unlock the last ep?

It is never too late since it will always be there awaiting an unlock.

If you have enough gems then maybe the store is experiencing a glitch at the moment

It says it costs 0 gems, but when I attempt to buy the episode, it says something is wrong with my internet connection

This might just be too obvious for most, but… are you trying to unlock the chapter from a level 80 character? Or are you sure you haven’t just unlocked it already? Since it’s been around since late August, you might’ve clicked the green star in the lower-right corner and dismissed the following screen without really thinking about it. If you have, it’s already unlocked but only for your level 80 characters.

I have the same problem and I am doing trying to open it from a lvl 80 character

There hasnt been any LS update so maybe it’s actually free?? Thats the only theory i could come up with.
