Vine seed flower
Where the vine bridge waypoint is, when the Mordrem are attacking, the vine bridge goes away. After you finish the Mordrem event, the ground where the vine bridge starts is glowy and stuff and you can plant the seed there to make a bridge.
Thank you for the fast answer
But are there other spots?

As far as I’m aware, no, although I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how they open up more to the zone in the next chapter.

That’d be my guess or something. Just seems odd that there’s all of these trees that give a seed but the one thing that spawns the vine bridge is a Skritt after the Mordrem event.
They look a little like Audrey II, maybe later you get to feed them…
I’m a Sylvari and I want them for my garden in the personnal instance ^^
There’s currently only one place you can plant them. They were probably included more for the people that played GW1 than for any real reason.
When I was exploring in areas I shouldn’t be exploring in, sometimes a graphical bug would pop up around the time of the Mordrem event showing another vine bridge just to the southwest of the current one getting destroyed. My guess is that we’ll be planting that one to get to the next area in the next update.
Right next to the spot where the bridge grows there is a second planting spot. If you look on the wall in front of it, you can see that there is a green smoosh on the top, just like the one from the other bridge. I belive there will be a second bridge there on the next episodes.
You can also use the seeds in combat, to make an AoE root effect, like the rager elite.

I agree. If you look closely, across the canyon there is a path leading towards more wreckage and a campfire. It then curves up to the top of the mesa, or down to a cavern. I am 99.9% convinced the entrance to chapter 3 is right there next to the current vine bridge.

^^ this. Though it would be cool to use them again in a story instance. It is a nice little nod to GW1.

To explain the GW1 reference: There are a couple missions in GW1 where you have to plant vine seeds in the maguuma jungle in order to progress through the mission.
Now, if only they led to a bloodstone
Not only is there a second seed place on the ground right next to it, also the region for July 29th is already done and in game but there are no NPC for now. How do I know well you can climb to it via those jumping crystal. I have done some guided tours for many people already and no I will not post pics those would be spoilers for even more people. If you stand on the seed patch the way up is to the right cliff. The only spoiler I will give is as you reach the plateau going up the hill the first thing you’ll see is a camp for more victims of a second or 3rd air ship. Climbing there is only a spoiler and certainly not an exploit. I even think Anet does that on purpose sometimes to quench our thirst for curiosity.

yeah, but looks like we wont actually be able to see the events and stuff there until the next patch after this one.

Exactly it’s the July 29th update you can go now but no NPC.

29th patch won’t include that area of Dry Top (other than its current state of just terrain assets)
This particular release won’t unlock a new section of the Dry Top map, although players can look forward to seeing more of it uncovered in the fourth episode. The focus of this upcoming release is on bringing news of Mordremoth’s existence to the rest of Tyria.
It will be chapter 4 (August 12th patch if its still two weeks between) that ‘unlocks’ a new section of Dry Top.
Please give us a keyring…
You’re right so August 12th it is, too bad I guess my theory of the Asura Lab getting us out of Dry Top for good will have to wait until the August 12th Update. Spoiler yes there is an Asura lab there inside the mountain and it’s facing away from Dry Top.
Remember Dry Top was the smallest Zone in GW 1, so yeah expect to be out of it soon if not in 3 weeks.
