I would really love to participate in the ‘rock the nightmare’ event. But guess what. Not a single Asian country is in the eligible list.

This is the case for most of their contests. I think there are laws and regulations they have to follow with certain contests and prizes and some countries are more difficult than others to include in the contests.

I see this a lot with online contests; you might be surprised by how difficult it is to host an international contest and still comply with all the appropriate laws and regulations. It’s a drag, but there’s only so much that can be done about it.

I’m actually surprised the list is as long as it is; I suppose a lot of European countries have compatible contest laws, or were just worth jumping through the relevant hoops for.

Nothing really new. Australia/NZ, Asia and some European countries have always missed out on contests involving prizes with cash value. It sucks, yeah, but I guess after so many years I’ve kind of become inured to it. :P
