Just starting the walk from Dry Top in to Maguuma. If what I see now is any indication Maguuma is going to be beautiful! Well done ANET! Maguuma was one of my favorite places, in fact the favorite place I had in prophecies besides the Crystal Desert with those cool giants. Also love that you brought back the mending springs! I am actually at the first skill point now!

I noticed them, and thought ‘How cool! So many references back to our adventures in Guild Wars (One).’

Yes, well done, ArenaNet. Two thumbs up on the whole Episode!

I got a bit irked off at how we suddenly know it’s a dragon for sure, and specifically which one, and the name of it. Then suddenly we don’t know what or who it is in the same dialogue tree. This LS release feels like a proper mess story wise. I love the area and all, but it’s like nobody paid attention to the story this time.

I’d like to add my congratulations too, I love this new direction with the Living World, if this keeps up I know I’ll be enjoying (and supporting) this game for years to come!

The little touches mean so much to me, for example, Taimi and my asuran elementalist talking about the Snaff Savant prize (Edit: sorry, that was chapter one but the point still stands, great stuff!) I cannot wait to get back to the story now that you’re telling it in game!

I’m getting that GW1 mission feeling which is a brilliant thing!

I have to agree that this is such a fun piece of new content. LW-S2 EP’s 1&2 have both been great fun, kudos to you guys at ANet. You took the criticism (a lot of it very heavy handed IMO) from LW-S1, acted upon it and seem to have hit the nail on the head with the way things are looking to progress story wise.
It’s not very often I look forward to a Tuesday on a Saturday, but I most certainly was last weekend, and now I can say, rightly so! Great job :-) .

With respect to the story part, I liked this one better than the first. I found some of the dialog to be a bit out of “character” with the overall slightly darker “feel” (i.e. a joke here and there is perfectly fine, but it went like 1-2 jokes too far – NOTHING that actually bothers me, though).

Similarly, KasJory after the Fort Salma vignette could have stopped their “argument” like 2-3 sentences earlier… as others have mentioned it felt unnecessarily longer than was necessary.

I HATE toxin/poison… and it’s back. Switch back to my antitoxin spray and life got slightly easier. Still hate toxin/poison.

Rewards for those mordremoth-themed “champ bags” need to be revisited… trash in a champ bag is obnoxious. And I don’t care if they really are “champ bags” or not – that’s how they’re perceived by the player, so that’s what they are.

I spent most of last night in the story, but the little bit of time I’ve spent in the second half of the map was an absolute blast! I’m posting a separate topic related to physics glitching… that’s my only negative comment thus far on the map (I reserve the right to kvetch about loot drop quality/volume after I run it more).

I hadn’t got there yet at the time of my previous post. However yes I did and yes I was excited lol. Really good stuff there. I’m disappointed that the “Maguuma like” area was so small. However I will trust that ANET will take us deeper into the jungles during this season. Since I brought up giants in my previous post, I’ll add on that adding a giant that drops dragonite ore and is on a reasonable timer was just what I needed without knowing it is what I wanted lol. I have officially parked my ranger at his spawn for random killing lol. Dragonite ore is such a pain to get when you are trying to ascend eight 80s smh. Anyway thanks for the giant ANET. If you could give us a few more of them that would be great thank you ;-)
