What does this symbol mean? [spoiler?]
Looks like the same symbol on the toy hourglass they gave out to some people.
Maybe some kind of hint to future episodes? I’ve never seen it before.
The three heads of the snake look like they are pointing to letters, but not New Krytan. Could it be Asuran or another old script? Alternate option, it could be some sort of symbol for the Sinister Triad.
White mantle propaganda.
Looks like a variance of ‘the wheel of time’ (eternity – shown by symbol of snake biting in his own tail in the form of a circle.)
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option
No thanks to unidentified weapons.
The Runes are from the Rite of Ascension in Augry Rock representing Elona Reach, Thirsty River and the Dunes of Despair.
Maybe the snakes refer to either the rite or Augry Rock itself.

Ah, thank you! That is an excellent insight.
Re: Similarity to the ouroboros loop – my concern is that it lacks an important feature. The snakes aren’t consuming themselves, which is key to the symbolism of eternity. Maybe it is related to or playing off the ouroboros loop in some way, but I don’t think it is an alternate version of that symbol, ie, a symbol of eternity.
It is likely that the symbol is a mark of the Forgotten, the original caretakers of the Ascension.

I’m inclined to believe that as well. After reading the GW1 wiki concerning those runes, and the Rite of Ascension, it seems that The forgotten played a significant role. (being the caretakers of such a rite) So the snake symbol would be The Forgotten, pointing to the various stages of the Rite of Ascension. But I wonder what this has to do with anything? Unless it’s a foreshadowing of something that is to come? Maybe somehow that rite is used to help fight Mordremoth?

That’s Razer’s logo
It could be a conspiracy consider Steelseries is Anet’s sponsor :P
Plus it is hidden too.
Incoming Quaggans [iQ]
While it is similar to the Razer logo, it lacks the 3 “leaf” Celtic-ish center piece….
I’m thinking the actual characters might shed more light on this.

In the teaser trailer released today, we see a woman inscribing that mark in the air, much as when Mesmers do mantras.
I’m quite pleased that when I first saw it I immediately thought of the Ascension runes. Haven’t seen them for ages and wouldn’t have expected to recognise them. (Although the return to Glint’s Lair makes the connection easier.)
I agree that it’s probably something to do with the Forgotten. Maybe they’re going to make a reappearance too?

The mark shown in the screenshot, and the one in the video are very different. The one in the video reminds me more of the aspects and the zephyrites. But yes, similar to how mantras, and eles glyphs work.

Apologies, you’re right. Here’s the video one for comparison. My apology for it being small, the video shrank every time I clicked the Snip tool.

My guess? Master of Peace seems to be going to some location known to him – either because he is carrying his precious cargo somewhere, or because it is already there and he wants to make sure it is safe. It would make sense if that location turned out to be some old Fogotten ruins. After all, it was the Forgotten that were the original caretakers of Glint.
Remember, remember, 15th of November
As Astralporing said, the Forgotten were the original caretakers of Glint. Maybe the Master of Peace is seeking them out to help raise and protect Glint’s offspring, and to teach it to harness the magic left behind by Zhaitan’s death.
In the Guild Wars 2 wiki (but not mentioned in the Guild Wars wiki), the Forgotten were also the ones who freed Glint from Kralkatorrik’s control. How they did that is unknown, but it stands to reason, if you discovered how they did it, you’d have the power to undo the dragons’ corruption or at least safeguard against it (like the famous krait Blue Orb protecting Fort Trinity).
It’s more likely this is adding to the ever-increasing pile of evidence that we’re wading into White Mantle ruins in search of a bloodstone, just as the Mordrem are.
if we are going to ascend that’s mean, in pve we can seek out rytlock in the mist, aand as it was in gw1 we were able to cross profession( i don’t really think we we’re able to have two profession/class in gw2)but it also mean hero acents ^^ a 8vs8 spvp tournament unsanelly famous in gw1, once the location of the entrance of this tournament was in the tomb of primeval kings in the crystal desert, the only way to reach that place was do the ascension, speak with glint and then redirected to the outpost.. now, we know that we have to seek the glint’s egg and maaybe lookking for the bloodstone too to feed the new dragon with energy soo that’s meen really good stuff..but this is just mere speculation
