I know this is a little off with the current phase the LS is but

Ellen won -> got thaumanova reactor fractal -> we saw Scarlet put her little cute wooden hands on that as well (well she urged and possibly “brainwashed” the Inquest to try out their experiments on Dragon energy on top of a cross point of those magical leylines … I think she is capable of anything even brainwashing).

If Evon would win , we would get a fractal to see the events that led to the fall of Abaddon … or something like that

Would Scarlet appear on that ??? impossible lore wise , the sylvari didnt exist 200 years ago so …

Was Ellen’s victory staged , so that Scarlet would appear in the reactor ?… Is it all a lie ? are we deceived ??? !!!

I haven’t stalked the LS section of forums so I apologise if this is already discussed , just a conspiracy theory my mind created at 2am

Scarlet would likely not have been part of it since it was before her time.

Remember Scarlet was/is part of the inquest, and seeing as how the aetherblade a and inquest have what is essentially a trade agreement I’d say they are still on good standings. She probably just tagged along to the reactor, which was an inquest facility, and we found out that she (and the inquest) learned leylines exist and that doing research on dragon/chaos energy on leylines is a bad idea.

I have a feeling if Evon had won we would have found out what it was that drove Scarlet mad, because I don’t doubt it would be scarlet related, and the stuff she saw sounds pretty abadonny.

Keep in mind I’m not saying “ZERMERGERD! Abbadon is alive!! He totally did it!!” Just that it was something tied to him, maybe it’s The first human that was given magic? Maybe it’s just an echo through the mists from a deed done looooooooong ago, maybe it’s something that happened during that event that isn’t necessarily Abbadon related but is just tied to that event/the six gods?

I still hope that we get to see this fractal someday (even if it means we won’t get to see another one, IE come up with an idea and have us vote again for them, but bring this idea back.)

Well, in this case they put a tasty reward along with the inquest fractal to convince people voting for Ellen, in this case the reduced waypoints cost.

Compared to the alternative of reduced key cost, you can guess it was all planned, but giving people the illusion of choice seemed a good thing.

Plus, I don’t recall the results of the election being public.
Basically Anet decided what they wanted to use.

As for the Abaddon fractal, Abaddon’s Fall can be interpreted in many ways.

Out of the two fractals I wanted Abaddon’s fractal more…just because of the lore. As for your question I’m more inclined to agree with what Durzlla said, but I doubt the Reactor Fractal we see now is exactly the same as the idea that was tossed around back in the summer. So even if a dev were to truthfully answer your question, it probably wouldn’t be that satisfying anyway, although I still want a Abbadon fractal though :|
