Am i crazy or did the sparkfly fen jungle wurms get a reskin?

They became the Primordus’ minions. They changed everywhere. In TA, TT etc.

They’re definitely different. I noticed it in Sparkfly earlier but I thought they had different models in different areas and I just didn’t remember that one (can’t remember last time I was in Sparkfly). That was until someone in my guild said they’re different in TA and we realised they’re the same everywhere.

I wonder if this is just an update because someone came up with a new model Anet liked better, or if it somehow ties into future content. They’ve been doing a lot of subtle hints recently so it’s hard to be sure.

It could just be an update to their model. But if it is story-related, maybe they’re absorbing Bloodstone energy and are “evolving” in a sense. Becoming Bloodstone-Crazed, if you will. Why specifically Wurms and a lot of them simultaneously? I’m not sure about that.

edit: now in sparkley fen there are only normal wurms… did they fix it? maybe it was the new model ready for next lw phase?

But the new jungle wurms have something with plantness. Look at this
turquoise pattern.

I can’t find them now. Did they fixed it with the later patch last night? Or only few wurms changed and i can’t find them anymore?

NPC appearances occasionally get bugged by new content releases. It’s something to do with how npc models are pulled.

Kinda like how one of the Charr npcs at one of the outposts in the Brand is wearing a Gem Store outfit.

They look out of place imo, but it’s intended. They’re the Sentinels - it’s their outfit.

I don’t think the sentinel gemstore outfit has anything to do with the Charr unit. It’s just not Charr thematically.
