Excuse me if this is a dumb question, but I also don’t like blind anticipation.

When ANet normally releases something on a date, it actually drops for me (East Coat US) the night before. Monthlies for instance reset the night before the new month, so it will be “July 1” for me tonight at 8 PM Eastern.

Does that mean we can expect the patch tonight, or during their typical Tuesday drop?

I don’t believe any patches have dropped ‘the night before on the East Coast’. Reset times are at midnight UTC, so they always ‘seem’ to be the day before for NA players.

I would guess the patch will drop sometime between 9am and 5pm PDT, barring any unforseen circumstances. Most likely closer to noon, though this patch may be ‘special’ and may drop a bit later in the afternoon.

Regardless, it’s anyone’s guess, but it won’t be today.

That was my suspicion. I’m going out of town tomorrow night and while I will bring a laptop, I won’t have nearly the play time I’ll have available tonight. Just means I’ll have to play a little catch up.

I suspect near the end of July 1th (GMT +1)

From previous patches you should expect it around 24+ hours from the time I post this.

It’s normally around the 7pm mark in the UK. Some have been later than others.

I think they’ve only done one, maybe 2 early morning PDT patches. Typically it’s around 12 PDT, but it’s been as late a 4 or 5.
