Where to spend Geods
What makes you think that?
Yes it looks like Dry Top is going to start being invaded by dragon minions (beyond a few decorative vines) but that doesn’t mean they’re going to remove all the merchants.
Even Orr has merchants and that’s supposed to be a constant deadly battle ground.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
I think this because they killed lions arch and never put back in the festival candy vendor. I have no place to spend my candy corn or my zhaitaffy. So since they are notorious for these ignorant oversights and even more notorious for not correcting their screw ups Im worried we may be about to lose our place to spend geods.
Sonder the Seller is still in Lion’s Arch. So what is your issue again?

oh! when was he added? I deleted my trash, again!
Where does it say he’ll be trading in Geodes?
So much for the tool-tips stating we can vendor these VTIs
So wait. Are you Anet about to destroy the only place we can spend geods? The new trailer makes it look that way. You really should let us know if your going to remove stuff like this since you said things were going to be permanent. Some of us havnt been farming this stuff because of that.
That reminds me about some old stuff from past releases like Found belongings, old clothes from Wintersday, cyphers, etc… I’m sure I read somewhere they were going to bring a vendor where you could trade those stuff. I’m still waiting that and I hope I didn’t read that wrong… Ah, not to mention it’s not only geodes but those lockpicks and piles of sand that are going to be no use later too.. I would prefer getting some cooper back from these stuff than simply trashing them away for good. Where is the recycling mentality? lol

Where do you get that any of those will ever be of no use? Dry Top is a permanent new area. There will always be buried chests to use lockpicks on. There will always be merchants to spend geodes with. And even if that weren’t the case, the sand piles are equivalent to loot containers. What circumstances could ever possibly make them of ‘no use?’ Anet changing them into ruined ore for no reason?
Spread the word people; when they say Dry Top is a permanent addition, they do in fact mean permanent.
I know Dry Top is going to be a permanent area, but the items and NPCs on it may not be. I didn’t state it IS going to be no use, I meant it MAY be going to be no use.
The merchant next to the other waypoint wouldn’t have to change.

Yes you did.
And again, the only thing that even MIGHT end up being useless is geodes since they don’t have an intrinsic function, they’re just a currency. And they won’t, because why would they? Anet would have to completely rework the dynamics of the map to remove the geode->lockpick function.
If they were actually going to remove the vendors that take geodes, which they aren’t, they probably wouldn’t change their already-designed-and-tested-content because of one poorly-worded post. Relax, breathe in through your nose, exhale through your mouth. Breathe in, breathe out. You will survive this.

Lol yes, my bad wording. Well, geodes is a currency like Old Clothes during Wintersday and Found Belongings were as well. Old clothes may be coming back on end of this year but Found belongings may not. And no, they wouldn’t need rework the whole map and stuff to remove it, or if they would it wouldn’t be that hard, the mechanics are the same as for belonging and stuff during the attack to LA.
I’m not complaining or something, just thinking it would be nice to have some other use for the leftovers of these stuff after the release is gone.
