It’s just something that keeps bothering me for a while after replaying the story with my alternate characters. I notice that why am i so eager to go meet up with Pale Tree? I know the reasonable answer would be to go warn everyone, but I felt that my character might have been hypnotized by the eye of the elder dragon at the end. But instead of going full crazy, the dragon placed a ticking timer in my mind that would go off once I reach the Pale Tree face to face. If not then ill have to wait for the next episode..
it’s because you see the Pale Tree in the vision so you want to go see what the Tree knows.
If the Dragon were to corrupt you, why wouldn’t he just corrupt you entirely? You’re in charge, after all, and he could make you a puppet to mislead everyone.
