Answers are:
Bloodstone Fen
Ember Bay
Bitterfrost Frontier
Lake Doric
Draconis Mons
Hands down for me: Bloodstone Fen. The mechanics, the attacking while gliding, everything about it is fun to me.
What about you?
I might have to whittle it down.
Not Bitterfrost (too much freeze-cheese)
Not Draconis Mons (too much of a hassle to find events)
Not Ember Bay (nothing goes on there, Jade anything is a terrible mob)
Not Bloodstone Fen (Events are sparse/boring)
So, probably Lake Doric for me, even though those hearts take 3x too long to finish.

I do have to agree regarding Bitterfrost, anything I need to do in that map I have to stock up on stealth packs, or use my thief.
I am curious about the Lake Doric one, when I do my dailies, especially regarding the unbound magic, for me its darn near impossible to find unbound magic.

Going to the peach tree is the easiest considering you’re going there already for another daily.
For me it’s Ember Bay.
The rest I never want to have to go back to again.
EDIT: Took out Lake Doric because I played through it again and it was horrible.

That the one where you kick trees repeatedly and spiders fall out? Got frustrated with that.

No. That’s the one at the top of the map just east of Noran’s area.
Ember Bay>Draconis Mons>>>Bitterfrost Frontier>Lake Doric>>>>Bloodstone Fen(i hate this map)
Bloodstone Fen probably takes the #1 spot. Its super easy to get around once you have all the gliding abilities and waypoints, the enemies are challenging without being annoying, and it looks interesting. Oh, and gliding combat is awesome.
After that its probably Ember Bay. Unique looking, still relatively easy to navigate thanks to decent waypoint placement and lots of lava tubes, lots of events, hearts are pretty reasonable to get done.
After that I don’t really know, honestly. Each one kind of has their own upsides and annoyances after that.
Draconis Mons is gorgeous to look at and the spider vine is really enjoyable, but its a nightmare to navigate (even if you know HOW to get everywhere, a lot of places still take quite a while to reach). I have missed so many event callouts on this bloody map just because everything takes an eternity to get to and dies so fast that you practically have to be there when it starts or you may as well not even bother, which is frustrating.
Some of the hearts are a little long as well.
Lake Doric is just kind of boring. Its bland looking, most of the events are just repeated multiple times throughout the map, and some of the heart quests are painfully slow to complete.
Bitterfrost Frontier is kind of nice looking, but that and being the fastest way to get Unbound Magic is about the only good things about it. The enemies are annoying as heck with their constant chill and the fact that they all travel in groups, getting anywhere that’s not the center of the map is tedious thanks to lack of waypoints / ley lines / travel tubes, there’s again a lot of repeated events, and the maps’ unique mechanic (the torches) are lame. You can only get them by returning to certain very specific spots, they remove your normal combat abilities and force you to choose to either not fight or waste your torch, and if you do decide to go through the trouble of using them all you get is some random chests.
Ironically enough, the LS3 map I’ve probably spent the most cumulitive time in is Bitterfrost, despite it being my least favorite. But all I ever do there is the berry farm and dailies.
Bloodstone Fen is probably second for most time spent, at least.

It’s between Ember Bay and Draconis Mons.
I really like the design of Ember Bay and it’s a very nice place to go farm karma, particularly since I also get destroyer lodestones while doing it.
But the Oakheart’s Essence mastery is just so much fun, and I love the map design of Draconis Mons.
So for now I’d have to say Draconis Mons, but it’s also a new shiny toy. In another couple of months it might be Ember Bay again.
From favorite to least favorite:
Draconis Mons
Ember Bay
Lake Doric
Bitterfrost Frontier and Bloodstone Fen (I like both to the same amount)
Draconis Mons… It’s the first zone/mastery combo that actually expanded the way you play the game in any major way since gliding was introduced.
From a strict farming standpoint, Bitterfrost/Emberbay are certainly the easiest.

Lake Doric would be my choice

True.
My summary, anyway:
From really fun, beautiful and interesting, to lame, boring and repetitive.
Draconis Mons>>Ember Bay>>>Bloodstone Fen>>>>>>>Lake Doric>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Bitterfrost.
Draconis Mons, because the map is designed to have fun with the Spiderman-skill.
I really do not like any of them per say. The gameplay is fairly boring to me. But if I were forced to pick one it would be Draconis Mons. And there are only two reasons for that. I like the Primordial harvesting, and the Oakheart Essence.
Other than that it is not that appealing to me.
Bloodstone Fen for me still. The mobility, especially with the new gliding skills, beats everything else in terms of fun and convenience. I don’t really miss the repeatable hearts from the other maps, since they just add to the “daily grind” feel and tend to take a bit too long for my liking (except on Ember Bay). The mercenary-related heart on Draconis Mons is the worst in that regard IMO.
I like Bitterfrost bacause it’s easy to navigate, and the only one I regulary go to with my other alts. The other LS3 maps I don’t bother since I only have one toon who got in and my other alts can’t (I don’t want to do story or use portal cause I think the other maps suck).
Well, since you people continue using this new thread instead of the already existing one , I’ll copy&paste my two cents below an make proper adjustments now that the new map has been out for a while:
1. Bitterfrost Frontier
I am a sucker for winter-themed maps, plus it looks gorgeous at night. Could have added more waypoints to it, though. It also is most fun, because it is easiest to farm and navigate. The other maps might seem more interesting at first, but after a while you simply grow weary of the artificial obstacles (that you are forced to use certain means of travel, the long distances etc.).
2. Draconis Mons
Even though it is probably my least favorite story-wise (although I rejoiced when I saw M.O.X. and Melandru’s Oakheart Guardians), I simply love the design of the new map. Okay, the layout takes time getting used to, but it is its beauty and variety that really struck me. The only downside is that grinding for the Henge backpack doesn’t take you to all the actually interesting places (like the cave with the grave) but the rather dull ones that get boring after a couple of days. Also, the JP is plain cruel.
3. Lake Doric
While it does look quite triste with all the destruction, its vastly empty spaces and the constant “doom-like” grey skies, it harbors the coolest locations: the forest and dungeon in the North (felt like playing D&D <3), the beautiful cave in the South-East and the nice fishers’ village to the East. Not a fan of farming and daily questing there, though, as there are to few nodes on the map. Also, the triste grey skybox does get depressing after a while.
4. Bloodstone Fen
Has the most waypoints and newly added updrafts, which makes traveling across this map quite comfortable. The leyline streams, however, are mostly annoying, because they often get in your way of farming the Unbound Magic, and it gets even worse with those anomalies popping up out of nowhere — these two things can make roaming this map a highly frustrating experience, and it often takes forever to farm it. Not a fan, even though it looks quite nice. (P.S. Also, none of the events on the map are being explained, so they seem illogical and random to newcomers.)
5. Ember Bay
It simply doesn’t have the charme it did in GW1. In GW1, you had dark-grey rocks with a purple touch, which made the whole place look magic. Now it’s all boring, dusty rocks, murky water, and way too much lava. Plus, the JP is by far the most annoying in the history of GW2. (P.S. Totally loved the humor in the story quests, though!)
Ah I see you are correct.
I have googleitis if I don’t see ir on the front page I quit and aak a question.
Sorry about that!

The new Draconis Mons is simply amazing. I am really enjoying it, and I think it’s the best map released this expansion.
I might have to whittle it down.

Go to the garden for the magic peach, drop down to the water level and make one full circuit and you will get 19 unbound magic for the daily right there. It’s 2 dailies in 1.

Bitterfrost Frontier > Draconis Mons >> Bloodstone Fen > Ember Bay >>> Lake Doric
If Lake Doric actually had a lake and not a dried up puddle and if it wasn’t obscured with all that purple palette then I might like it. As it is though, it’s a boring eyesore.
Bitterfrost is stunningly beautiful and fun to play. Draconis Mons has lots of cool areas and the vine grapple is a lot of fun.
Gliding in Bloodstone Fen is fun but all that red colour is also an eyesore.
Ember Bay is… meh, but at least more interesting than Lake Doric.
From favorite to least favorite:
Lake Doric (great map and farm) →Bloodstone Fen (it’s pretty awesome, I like the events and air combat.)→ Ember Bay (nice events, I can discover the map with ley line gliding- it’s kinda amazing.)→ Draconis Mons (I like the epic events here and epic music during the events, the map looks complicated, but I like the map.)→ Bitterfrost Frontier (The map is a bit annyoing and the events are not epic, mobs freeze you all the time, even gathering the berries is annyoing, because mobs pop up from nowhere.)
Can’t stand Lake Doric, the hearts take forever, the events and achievements suck, I hate white mantle, the “AFK” farmers occasionally chime in with obnoxious comments if you’re trying to get groups for events. An emptied out lake isn’t visually appealing to me, and a generic forest is very -meh-. I like Draconis Mons, the vines are fun, the map is easy to get around once you figure it out, and the hearts don’t take forever, and the events aren’t garbage.

Sadly Bitterfrost Frontier is plagued with the same thing. Good luck getting help with map completion for it because everyone in map chat will tell you or imply “cheekily” how much you suck.
All it does is remind me of how awful the community is and why I have map chat turned off now.
it would be much easier to choose my favorite story patch (thatd be lake dorrics update)
theres actually a lot i love about all of the maps and its real hard to choose, gun to my head I might say ember bay pushes its way to the top by a thin margin
