Who is E? I think it’s QuEEn JEnnAhE. Why?
When Queen Jennah was accused of being associated with Scarlet Briar, E contacted Anise to deal with this situation. It’s obvious that Queen Jennah has a lot of dirty political affairs and that she constantly requires third party support to deal with her mismanagement. There has never been so many lies and so much deception. She’s guilty as hell and she needs to go to jail. I mean people have had their lives destroyed for doing one fifth of what she has done.

Perhaps E is Evennia
Either as a ghost or Livia found a way for her and Evennia to ‘live’ longer

Both were (or are?!) important members of the Shining Blade.

I think E is Lord Faren. Jory didn’t notice anything non-human worth mentioning in the man who grabbed her from behind and if Faren were truly as incompetent as he seems he’d have died long ago. He is Kryta’s Scarlet Pimpernel as far as I’m concerned. There’s no reason for E to be the actual initial of the secret person; they’re clearly well-informed and intelligent, why on earth would they use their own initial?

It’s just a play on “mystery” to sign things “Mr. E.”

Since ANet hasn’t said for all these years, I made up my own story (thanks to They Might Be Giants for the background).

E is the Elder Dragon to rule them all. It wants the other dragons defeated so it has a free hand in Tyria.

Those who have lived with cats know that it would be better to hire a dogsbody to do their bidding — it’s notoriously difficult to get cats to paw only what you want them to paw.

Originally I theorized that E was part of a tight-nit group with Ogden, Livia, Pale Tree, Gleam, and Master of Peace, following Glint’s plans. But with the lack of response from E in later S2 and HoT, I began thinking E was Faren, Scarlet Pimpernel style. And the lack of communication was caused by having to hold up public appearances (Party Politics) and then being stuck in the jungle – how did Faren survive being in the jungle crawling with hostile hylek and mordrem, alone, for hours?

But when the bandit champs v2 came out, we got a letter from an interesting fellow: The Errant.

And I thought about something: every time that E comes to us or Marjory, it deals with driving us away from the corrupt politics of DR:

• When E first met Marjory, he stopped her from following the norn necromancer mercenary.
• When E first contacted us, it focused the Pact Commander on LA political situation but also drew Marjory away from investigating DR for a time – I wonder what her current case was at the time?
• The third time E contacted us, it was about “mysterious disturbances” in Brisban Wildlands. While this brought us closer to the White Mantle, at the time they were being besieged by Mordremoth – something the Pact Commander would be interested in. So to buy time, and save White Mantle skin from Mordremoth, E sent us against the Elder Dragons’ forces.

E = The Errant = leader of the Bandit Executioners, on Caudecus’ side of the split.

Yes, it’s Malyck. Who’s been forgotten about, somewhat. ArenaNet intended to put him into HoT but scrapped him for the sake of a “fast paced narrative” which, IMO, was the shot in the foot for HoT.

I think E is a loose plot thread that has been abandoned and will never be heard from again.

Seems he was, I don’t have one as I don’t like the race, only played one for the achievement, and to have a look at what the dream looked like.

E could be any of a lot of people, or more than one. We may not have met them yet.
