It doesn’t look like a one of the Fiery Dragon Swords (considering the hilt and smaller flame). Is it just a random Flame Legion guy?

looks like Rytlock Brimstone with some fire eyed pauldrons.

This is not Rytlock. Look at the facial details. The minor horn on Rytlock points to the back, this one is to the front. Rytlock has “beard” that goes from ear-to-ear and longer on the chin. This one has no “beard” on the chin, just the side. Finally, that tattoo on both eyes, Rytlock has no facial tattoo. Not to mention that forehead pendant as a dead give away.

Why does he wield the Sohothin ? Only Rytlock has that sword.

It’s concept art, I don’t necessarily count that for being 100% up to scale. I do question its significance.

I think its just a sword on fire, not Sohothin. It doesn’t have the helix blades nor does the hilt look like the ‘dragon’ head.

could it be Rytlock transformed somehow because he tries to break the curse? Or maybe Barradin and Rytlock Join bodies and this is what came out.

Well ghosts haven’t done possession before. And shouldn’t the flames be blue then?

That’s got to be concept art of Rytlock, since he’s wielding Sothorin.

Thinking back to the trailer, maybe he gets corrupted by ghosts?

That might be a Molten Sword (flame legion), and that might be a Flame Legion soldier (perhaps they attempt to interfere with breaking the curse). Or it’s early concept art of Rytlock or another charr.

I will say nothing more then finish this episode, you should figure it out from there.
