Some of us actually are casual players, like myself, I play in spurts then don’t show up for weeks.

So when you increase the costs of all the recipes at every tier across the board I can’t afford what I was actually about to be able to afford before the patch hit. So what gives, Anet?

They should be cheaper with a T6 Dry Top. Use LFG to find one. There is one going on right now that needs more people.
