Just…. Why?

Major disintrest in WvW due to dull gameplay and no serious effort to create something that is just enjoyable to play.

Major disintrest in PVP due to conquest and unimaginative maps and gameplay.

Major disintrest in Pve, dungeons and world bosses due to stuff just not working/ repetative gameplay.

So now the living story must drag all the other modes up and keep intrest of the masses..

I guess it could work.

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure. Your perceived ‘disinterest’ is completely subjective. I’m not disinterested, and I’m guessing all those other players I see in-game aren’t that disinterested, either, else why would they be in-game?

I will say I’m looking forward to next week. =)

Let’s just wait for tuesday before saying anything else, maybe many surprises awaiting us ahead (i doubt it but still..)

just saying i might be on my last legs in gw2 im still interested if they can get better in the ls. i want to see how they implement new areas in the game

You are totally right with your statement..
Yet i kinda have been asking and reading around on my server/friendslist..
yes next week there might be a new area introduced with some bosses to kill, maybe a dungeon.. i agree it can be enjoyable for a week to complete all the content and maybe longer.. but that doesn’t change the sentiment of a lot of players who have been yearning for some serious upgrades in the gamemodes i have mentioned.
so don’t take what i write and dismiss it as “But i still enjoy the game so your opinion is invalid”. trust me.. i wouldn’t write this if i didn’t feel it was the general opinion of most people i raid/dungeoncrawl/tpvp and even do events with.

I didn’t claim your opinion was invalid, just your statement of facts.

I said that what you wrote, in fact, was opinion, and not shared by everyone. If you have proof there is major disinterest, by showing metrics, your claims will be justified.

Otherwise, it is an opinion, and some will agree, and others will not. =)

I think (<—my opinion) that many are looking forward to the beginning of Season Two, if for no other reason than to see what awaits us…good or bad.

I am with Inculpatus on this one. I still find most parts of the game very interesting and entertaining after playing from 2 months after initial launch. Am really excited about LS2…..should be interesting! And, hopefully, a lot of fun! And most of my fellow guildies are looking forward to it, as well.

Features and the like will be in quarterly feature packs like the one we had a few months back. If they stick to the quarterly updates then we should expect one in August. You shouldn’t expect any update to WvW/PvP sooner than that.
