Why the Silverwastes Meta Event Fails
Does anyone even care about “hero of the wastes”? O_o
Sure it’s better to have it than not but I would never actively put forth any effort to get it. It just doesn’t factor into any decision making.

Considering at 169% base MF, sharpening skull, lunar food, MF boost, cele boost, 5 persevere stacks, and hero, I ended at ~589%MF… Yes, it did affect decision making.
Complete breach/VW, stacks set, hit champ train, then follow chest train for persevere-affected chests. Open lucky envelopes during train. When train ends or breaks due to prep bar filling, farm dust mites/twisters while taxi’ing, stocking sand for chance for keys/lockpicks. Protect dollies to max all fort supply. Now slap legends with 589%MF for that much more of a chance of not having to buy associated armor boxes with crests. Breach (increased armor chest chance on drops)/VW/lab, lather, rinse, repeat.
During LNY the only time I left SW was to clear dailies as fast as possible and buy my envelopes for the day.

Would having 539% MF be that much lower that it would force you to do whole metaevent? Somehow i don’t think so. And the fact that most people jump zones to higher completion one just after Vinewrath (thus losing that buff) suggests they don’t care about that buff either.
Remember, remember, 15th of November
having 589% MF don’t really matter, at lest, to me. Is like playing lotto. The person that buys 500 tickets vs the person that only buy 1 tickets. The odds are pretty much the same due to RNG.
It is just video game life. If you really want all that shiny, just jump around maps like most people do. These that jump around maps with low magic find and have more chance at VW vs these that stay in one map with super high magic find. That to me, in turn, is the same.
People that jump around map end up with more loots, in true.
