Will next map?
The response from the devs to this question will likely arrive at about the same time as the new map :p
Unbound magic is the currency of all of ls3, so it will probably still be used in the next map.
Unbound magic is a season wide currency but there will probably be other map specific currencies also.

Will next map currency be mats as core maps or utilize one of existing currencies or bring new one. Question to devs.
It is strict internal policy for them not to discuss upcoming content until it is released (unless they initiate a discussion ofc). You will not get a dev response on this prior to the release of the next map I’m afraid.

Anet don’t discuss details of upcoming content until they announce it, and then they only discuss certain parts. But based on previous releases it will use Unbound Magic and have a map specific currency/crafting material.
